Pre op

Yeah I know what you mean!!! I'm sooo close, and sooo scared of blowing it!!!! I've heard my Dr is a stickler on losing the pre surgery weight! Which is fine. I just really gotta concentrate! I didn't realize my pre op was comming up soo soon!! But I know I can do it!!! I really think the water has been the biggest help in losing the weight. When I feel like snacking I just chug a lug the water! Then I'm too busy going back and fourth from the bathroom to eat!! Your surgery is comming up sooo soon!!! Where are you having it done??? Hi and Congrats on the weight loss. I'm lucky in that respect, my surgeon didn't say anything about losing weight before the surgery. My date is October 4th, it's coming fast. I went in for my first appointment with the Dr. on Sept. 10th and was able to set the date and get all my pre-op stuff done at the same time. The only thing they did to me was an EKG and 3 little tubes of blood. I guess it's probably because I had my gaulbladder and appendix removed several years ago. He did mention that I should find a protien shake I like now instead of waiting. I haven't done that yet but it's on my list for this weekend. I know what you mean about the last meal thing. I feel like I have a free pass to eat, and that makes it really hard. I haven't put on any weight, but I sure haven't lost any either. I don't know how you're doing it... but keep it up!

Thanks Kris!! It's really hard, cuz I wish I had the free pass to eat! At least you aren't gaining!! That's a big plus! I ordered a bunch of samples of protein shakes from vitalady.com. So I've been trying them out. But I also heard that your tastebuds change after surgery, and what you like before hand, you may not after. So that's why I'm just doing samples for right now!
