Long wait is nearly over....OCT 18th

Hi everyone! I have been working on approval for this surgery for almost 2 years. My insurance company wanted me to jump thru hoops and I did just what they wanted, until they finally gave in and approved the surgery. Maybe they thought I wouldn't do all they asked and would give up, but they didn't know this gal! I was approved in May, but I've been traveling and couldn't arrange to get back to Arizona (where I will have the surgery) till mid September. Think about that one.... getting approved then having to wait for FOUR months. I have used the time to read everything I can find on post-op helpful hints. Would love to hear from those of you who have gone thru the surgery and how you are doing... as well as anyone with the same surgery date so we can compare notes and become loosers together. OCT 18th will be here before we know it... and I am SO ready. Joan
