I am so excited to have a surgery date of Oct 15. The crazy thing is I don't even know the official name of the surgery I am getting.I do know it is the answer to my prayers though. Elaina

Elaina, You are probably having the Roux en Y gasteric bypass. Congratulations on your surgery date. Mine is Oct 1st. I too feel blessed for this oportunity for a second chance. I am ready to do it now but will wait patiently for my turn. regards, Victoria F.

Thanks I think you may be right I am impatient too but of late I have started to feel fear.Alot!! I am most worried about pulmonary embolisms which seem to be the most likely killer of wls patients. I am just trying to pray through it and trust God. Congradulations on your date too!
