New to the board

Hello everyone, Wanted to take a minute to introduce myself, my name is Sophia and I am 32 living in the NYC area. mother of 3 and foster mother of 3. I just recently found this board and so glad to see everyone around that will be having surgery around the same time as myself. Had my first consult on the 26th and everything was great very happy and I also got my Date for October 26th 2004 woohoo!!!! With my fingers crossed I am hoping everything turns out just fine for me and no complications arraise to hold me back from surgery. please drop on my page and leave alittle love. Welcome Sophia, I too am new to the boards and have a surgery date 10/1. I live near Dallas Texas but have visited NYC several times in the last few years because my daughter lived there for a couple of yrs until recently. Congratulations on your surgery date. I am sure all will be fine. I understand your concern as I too am afraid something will somehow happen to keep me from surgery. I am counting on 10/1 to be my day. Sophia, I am getting ready for my surgery as well. I am scheduled for Oct. 1st and although it seems far away today I am sure it will be here before I know it. Wow you must have your hands full with 6 kids to look after, hopefully they will be looking after you when you have your surgery. I don't have any children but some wonderful nieces that I spoil and then send back to their parents! I will keep you in my thoughts and will look forward to chatting with you again. Pam C
