Where Will We be by Christmas?

My current date is October 13. I hope to get it earlier...but that is the latest it will be. I wonder where I will be by Christmas. I am 220 now and would like to lose 50 pounds by Christmas. I wonder if that is doable. Anne

I am not sure...I think some where between 27 - 44. However, I am like you would love to lose 50lbs by Christmas. My dates is Oct. 5, 2004. I originally had a date of Sept. 3, however, my yr annv at work is not until Sept. 29 and you have to be employed one yr before you can get short term disability. Oh well....at least I got approved and I have a date. Let's make a pack to post around Christmas to let each other know where we are. Marsha

Sounds good. I am so afraid of expecting too much. When you see some people lose 124 pounds in 4 months! I was going to go out and buy a dress for Christmas (on the reduced racks) but I don't want to buy it too small! Anne current/goal 220/120

I totally think 50 pounds is doable. I have seen many people saying they lost any where from 40 to 60 pounds in 2 months. Wouldnt that be great? ~Rachel

I certainly could handle being down 50 pounds by Christmas. As I am only 5'2 it would make a big difference. We will see. Anne

I'm pretty sure it depends on how much overweight we are right now. I know when I was at my heaviest, it was easy for me to lose 10 pounds in a week, because it was mostly water. But when I weighed less, it was harder to take off. Also, I know MY metabolism has slowed down so much with age, that it's hard to take off anything now! When I was young - no problem! I also was wondering where I would be at Christmas. Good post, Anne.
