Great pics Vee. And thank you for you kind words about my reaching Wunderland. You're right 35 pounds is a lot, even though there more to go I feel great about the fact that I'm no longer where I was. Everyone today at work was given me compliments. I guess it's really starting to show! Soon you'll be singing the same song! Remember we all go through those doubts that it isn't going to work for us. If you know that now it may help you ignore them later! Barbara

Wendy, I live in Cornelius and have some 30/32 clothes that you might be able to wear. Don't give up this opportunity to be with your mom on this special day. My mother died in 1976 and my father died in 1986. I wish I still had them around to be able to do things with. Don't let clothes get in the way.The time spent with a loved one is much more important than what you wear on your body. Let me know if I can help. Eleanor

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have never had alot of clothes. When I find something that fits and is comfortable I stick with it and wear it till I cant wear it anymore. Then I go on the search for something else. I cannot wait to go clothes shopping and enjoy it. I suggest you try to find a consignment store that sells plus size. I have found one in concord that sometimes has size 30 or 5x clothes. I would tell you mom. She would understand. I always hated going somewhere and everyone being dressed up and I show up in t shirt and shorts. Maybe she can help. Or If you can find some where to get clothes buy it then return it afterwards. I have had to do that for a few formal get togethers. I didnt have the money to buy something that fit so I would return it when done. Clothes our size is sooo expensive or it is so ugly. Good luck to you. I hope you get to go and have a wonderful time LaDonna -40

Wendy, If you will e-mail me your address (not on the message board) I will mail you some things. I have at least one pants outfit that is a 30 that would be perfect for the tea. I will look and see what else I have as well. I think I have a few dresses as well. I was going to take them to the thrift store, but I would love for you to have them. It would make me very happy if you would accept them! Thanks! Liz

Dear Sonya, Frayer, Donna, Bobbie, Elanor, LaDonna, and Elizabeth, I'm sorry to write a group reply to all your kindness, but I think I can only do this once. I told my mom about some of the clothing options presented to me by you guys, and she said, "It would probably be best if you didn't come, I'm not sure the church chairs could take your size". There it is. Thanks for sending so much love my way, Wendy W

In my case my insurance is Medicare. and I will not know if they will cover my procedure untill I receive verification that they actually paid. You may ask someone in the Dr's office what criteria that most insurances look for in covering this surgery. It is a necessarr surgery, and is for health reason other than just cosmetic. One of the web sites that I looked on concerning Panniculectomy surgery, and abdominalplasty said that in most cases most insurances cover the Panniculectomy, however that is up to each individual insurance company. I know this isn't much help. But you may be able to also get more information by going into a search engine and researching different insurance companies, and also get more information on the panniculectomy. If mine is denied, since I have already had this surgery I will have to make arrangements to pay out of pocket. So I hope that I am not faced with that. Good luck in your search, and hope that you can find the answers that you need.
