First of all.. congratulations!! And as to the other...I say, go ahead with the celebration! Don't let her rain on your parade. You don't have to shout it from the rooftops but you can bring something in that everyone can eat, including you. I have a great recipe for Sugar Free Banana Bread if you want it... you can't even tell it has Splenda in it. It's a big hit wherever I take it. Just let me know. Pam

Hi Kathy... thanks for posting the QOTD! Good question too..
I think that exercise and an active lifestyle is probably the key to keeping the weight off. I don't really have a plan yet but I am thinking about getting a personal trainer for about 10 visits and having them teach me how to do things and then be able to do it on my own at the Fitness Center that I can join here at work. It's part of the hospital I work for but not located on campus. I would like to start my day off there at 5:30 am but not sure if that is feasible. Thanks for making me think though... i'm going to hve to put some plan into action soon. Pam

Hi everyone.....!
Today I finially became a member of the century club!!! My goal was to hit the 100 pound mark by my anniversary...I am actually about 6 weeks ahead of my goal. I feel absolutely wonderful and would do this all over againin a heartbeat! I am thinking I would like to lose about 15 more pounds and then work on maintaining. I have a question that maybe some wise person could help me out with. Most of my co workers have been great supports and have been there for me through this whole journey. I told them that when I hit my 100 pounds mark, I would bring something in to work to celebrate...muffins or something like that. One person has been awful towards me this entire time. She is constantly nasty to me with rude comments. She thinks this "surgery thing" is the cowards way out...she says this as she is finishing her 5th donut of the morning. I have been careful not to talk about my successes when she is around...trying to be somewhat respectful of her feelings or insecurities...whatever the case is. How do I handle this "celebration" that others want to share with me?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Sorry this got so long....!
