Congratulations and Welcome to the Century Club!! Who cares about your one co-worker! Maybe if you share a sugar-free treat or two she might be a little more motivated to treat her own body better!! Also, one thing I wanted to "learn" how to do was celebrating without food (something my family has always been too focused on!****lebrated my century club induction by treating myself to a 1 hour massage! I shared the joy by bringing my kids to a park and hiking a 3 mile trail we enjoy. Perhaps you could "treat" the office to a floral arrangement or plant to thank them for their support? Don't know how big your office is, but perhaps one particular flower (like rose) for each person. Include the poopoo-er in the count....at the very least she has strengthened your conviction by challenging your decision!! I don't have any great ideas on how to celebrate with coworkers without food, but thought I'd share the thought anyway! Kathy

Topic: RE: almost 1 year out....how much are you eating?
Melinda, I feel like I can eat alot, too. I can actually eat a whole hamburger on the bottom part of the bun..with all the fixings. I've only done it a couple times, and I'm very full....but I think that is alot! I agree with others that with somethings I can eat more...and I have days when I can only eat smaller portions...kinda weird. I talked to my doctor about it. Key things are: Eat protein and other proper foods. Eat until satisfied..don't wait to feel "full". Remember how little you're eating in comparison to a year ago!!! Don't eat continuously! My doctor advocates 3 meals and one snack..feels that any more than that leads to grazing all day long. It's working for me...and I don't usually have the snack...only if I need more protein for the day. Kathy 294/160/155.....5 lbs. to goal!

I was a 10, now I'm a 9! I have given away most of my 10s. I love shoes, so buying new ones has been a real financial strain, but so much fun!

Congrats, Congrats, Congrats!!!!! I loved the day I hit my 100 pound mark. Now if I could just get below 200 I would be ever so happy. Three more pounds!! As for your co-worker maybe you could let her know in advance that you are wanting to celebrate your success and know that she does not approve and you did not want to exclude her but would understand if she did not want to participate. See what she says. Now since you are talking food and she has a thing for food she probably will not want to be left out. Let us know how it goes. We all will be anxiously waiting. Tanya -122

It really depends on what it is. I can eat lots of watermelon, salad or veggies. But still just 2-3 oz of dense meats or cheeses. It truly depends on what it is I'm putting in my mouth.
