Topic: HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!
I am so amazed it has been a year already. Boy does time fly when life is healthy. I am down to 165 lbs and can fit into size 8 pants, 10/12 dress. I have lossed a total of 152 lbs since my first visit with my surgeon. I am so thankful that I have had this surgery, it has blessed my life more than words can express. Many blessings to all of you on your one year achievements. Life is worth living to the fullest, enjoy every minute of it.

Hi Judy I'm with Pam. If you just want a get-away, go for it(although I could think of a much better place I would rather be). If you're being taken care of by your PCP, then I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think that I would like the way that he does it as a group, anyway. There's no one on one with your surgeon. What ever you decide, HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Your WL Buddy, Jane

Topic: Beans and cheese dip! Oh Yeah!!!
I LOVE Mexican food, but some things are too spicy for me, now. But, not this! I hope that you give it a try because it is soooo delicious! Bean-n-cheese dip 1(16oz. can) refried beans [regular or fat-free] 1 jar of salsa (mild, medium, or hot) 1 cup of shredded cheese (your choice) I use pizza cheese 1 sm. container sour cream 1 bag of tortilla chips Mix the beans, salsa, and cheese together in a microwave safe bowl. Then, microwave for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. I like sour cream with my dip, so I put some on a plate and add the sour cream on top. Open your bag of tortilla chips and enjoy!!! OLAY! Jane P.S. This is loaded with protein!

My goal was to stay at goal and get fit, I've been at goal since late June but I keep obsessing and now I'm below goal by 6 pounds. I really like this weight (115 at 5'1") and I just want to be able not to obsess anymore and just enjoy and be happy. Love you all Lucie

When I had the surgery last year, all I wanted was to to be able to get around without feeling pain everywhere in my body. I reached that goal 3 months after the surgery. I also wanted to be able to play with my kids, go places with my husband, and to just feel human, again. Well, I've reached all of those goals. I missed my 1 year goal weight by 2 pounds, so I guess I will work on losing those 2 pounds this month. Life is good!!! Love you guys, Jane
