Hi Pam, Happy Anniversary! You are so beautiful and it's wonderful that you have done sooo well this year. You WILL get the rest of the weight off that you want. Just remember to take it one day at a time and do something special for yourself every day - you deserve it! Judy

Went for my one year appointment and the doctor thinks that I do not need to lose anymore! What a great day it was. This has just been such a great experience and I'm so thankful. Things I can do now, Cross my legs Finish a 13.1 mile marathon Bike 14 miles no problem Wake up without any aches and pains Wear my shirt tucked in Use any bathroom stall comfortably AND Can easily keep from seating on the seat LOL Enjoy my husband like never before Enjoy life Enjoy working out Wear my 12 and 10 years old jeans (I'm in a 8!) I can shop for cute clothes not just something that fits! I can do more in a day then I used to be able to do in a week or more. Life is good!

Happy Belated Anniversary!!! You have done a remarkable job over the past year.....it just gets better and better, doesn't it!! I am also a slow loser but, I think because of the slow weight loss, I don't have any hanging skin. As for the celebration, for me, everyday is a celebration since my surgery! Keep up the good work...you have lots to be proud of! Deb

I can now help my husband with the gardening! In fact I have taken it over. I have never gardened before and it is fun. Oh and I can fit in the seats at my Sacramento Kings games! I love it! Janice 320/208/180ish

Hi Pam, Congratulations on the weight that you have lost. 82 pounds is great for one year. Just think where you would be right now if you didn't have the surgery. My anniversary date is Oct. 20. I will see my surgeon on that date for my one year check up. I am a slow loser like you. I am right at 90 pounds lost and have had to fight BIG TIME for the last 15 pounds that I have lost.I know how frustrating it can be.I am only 5ft. tall and need to lose at least another 30 pounds. That would put me at 130. I don't know if I will ever make but I am trying. I realize that I have at times been my own worst enemy and sabotaged my results. Having said that, I know we can reach our goals we just have to make ourselves use our tool the way that it was meant to be used. Good luck on your continued journey and I hope that this second year will see us fulfilling all of our goals and dreams.

I don't mind having my picture taken... I don't have very many before pictures because I hid every time I even thought a camera was near. Now it's fun most the time!
