Seeing as my big day is on Halloween, I'm going to dress up in my (according to my daughter) Skankerific costume and answer the door!

Hi everyone.... Yesterday was my 1 yr anniversary...and what a year it has been! I was going to post yesterday but, was having too much fun celebrating! And this celebration did NOT involve food; I did a 15 mile bike ride in the morning and went hiking in the afternoon with a friend. Over the past year, I have lost 106 pounds and have gone from a size 24 to a size 10! I have tons of energy and have not had ANY complications from the surgery. I am very thankful for the support of friends and family; what a blessing this has been. Congratulations to all the others celebrating their special days this month! Deb 250/144/almost there!

I can hardly believe it has been one year since my surgery! It seems like yesterday that I was waiting for a surgery date! This has been an experience I will never forget. It had it's ups and downs, but the ups out weigh the downs, (not pun intended!). I am happy to be where I am as of today! I still have about 28 pounds to go, but well worth the effort!
