Wow what a lost!!!! I am 3 months today and I am 60 lbs. I have a hard time with protien drinks because I can not tolerate anything sweet. Makes me so sick to my tummy. So I struggle there. I eat pretty much anything else but very little because I do not want to eat at all. I do not see my weight lost at all. I have a extremly hard time eating or reading the difference in carbs what I can and can not. I feel so stupid at times. Congrats to all, I will get there one day I hope... Ann

Hello everyone, I had surgery on 10/20/03 and I am down 51 pounds today. I am very excited. I had some blood work done before Christmas and my doctor says the results are excellent. I am off diabetes medication.

Amber, if you don't mind me asking what are you eating? how often are you eating? make sure you eat/drink protein first then wait a few minutes. the fullness come very shortly after you are finish eating.

I am having thoughts that this is not working! I feel hungry all the time and sometimes I can eat over the recommended amount of food and not even get sick! I try not to do that but it's very hard!...HELP!! Please.

Hi Kim- We have the same "rebirth day". I had RNY on 10/7/03 and to date have lost 55 pounds. I think you are doing great!! I see my surgeon this Thursday so I am hoping he thinks I have done well. I am extremely pleased with the loss. I had hoped for more, but I'm still going. Remember we all loose weight at different rates. You are doing GREAT! Candy

Kim, Your weight loss is wonderful! I want to remind you that everyone looses weight at their own pace and not to compare. I know how you feel though. It is hard. My friend had surgery the same day as me and on our first post-op appt she lost 41 pounds and I lost 23! I was shocked. Well we had our 2nd month appt today and her total wieght loss is 59 pounds and mine is 54! I am catching up with her big time. She did not loose hardly anything this month were I did. It all evens out in the end. Congrats again on your wonderful weight loss! Tanya ps email me your phone number and I will be more than happy to be your support person!

Donna I am glad to hear that you are doing well with your LAP Band. I had RNY on 10-24 and I too wake up in the morning feeling light headed and weak. I believe it is from our limited food intake. I usually feel better after I eat something. Tanya 325/271/150

Congratulation Kimberly 53lbs is wonderful!!!! Keep your chin up girl. We all loose at different rates so don't compare yourself with anyone else. Some of us are taller or started out with alot more than others so that is why some loose faster or slower depending on your situation. Keep up the great job. Please feel free to email me if you need some one to talk to about the journey. Blessings to you.
