Hi all of my October siblings, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your journey. I have been blessed!!! I weighed in yesterday and have reached the century club -100 lbs total (30 lbs prior to surgery and 70 lbs post surgery). I still don't believe it. I am so thankful for this surgery. My health has never been better. I wish my hair would stop falling out though, it's getting scary on that front. I finally feel my energy levels rising. I was thinking I was going to drag for a while, but sure enough the last week I stopped taking those power naps in the afternoon. Many blessings of success to all of you!!!

I am terrified that I will stop losing-I just pray I am doing what i have to do to keep losing. I am always wondering if I am doing it the right way. I am also able to eat more now and that really worries me. Not a lot more food, but more than in the beginning. Scarry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just now found this site. Had my surgery October 28,2003. I'm 3 months out and doing great ( at least i think i'am). I'm down 67 pounds and went from a 3x pants to 1x. I'm now beginning to like myself, what a great feeling! I no longer have to have home oxygen, and not a diabetic. I feel so much healthier. Life is good and keeps getting better.

Tanya, I am so sorry about your ankle. I will say a prayer for you, for a speedy recovery. Maybe try some floor exercise just to keep your metabolism moving. Hang in there before you know it you will be back on your feet again better than ever.
