It is the flux of estrogen that is ******g everyone off. I asked my doc about it. This to shall pass as we get smaller and things even out a bit. For now, it is Zoloft the equalizer for me... Much better now... Judy

ya know, I find my weight loss increases around my period time too! I've always been a BM girl around that time and I still am. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I do exercise. Lately it's not been that much.
You've all done so very well. I'm so proud to be in the same date time as you all!!!

I had surgery on 10/31/03. I'm down 60.5 pounds which seems slow to me. Its a little depressing. I lose about 10 or 11 pounds a month. I also noticed my weight loss slows during the early part of the month and then picks up when I have my period, which I find more than a little odd. I figure if I keep losing at least 10 pounds a month I will make my surgeons goal in another 10 or 11 months.

Susan,
Watch those Pouch Rules, they are nothing like my doctor or my dietition tell me. I would stick to what your dietition or dr or who ever you see regularly Or what works for you.

Deneise,
Well I appaude all of you! My surgery was 10/27/03 and I am only down 51 lbs and it has been a very slow process. My Dr refussed to let me see a dietician and when I did on my own I found that I was not getting enough of anything and since eating more my loss is picking up! Is anyone a revision? Mine was. I wondered if the weight loss is slower with revisions than first time around.

Congratulations you two! You've done quite well too! I also am fighting the hair battle. I have super short hair and well, I (according to my hair stylist) have a lot of it, it's just thin. Well, I keep seeing my hair EVERYWHERE and it's truly making me insaine!!!!

Hi. I had my surgery on 11/3 (three days later than you) and I have lost 66 lbs. I am trying to lose another two pounds before 3/3 so I will be under 200 lbs by my four month anniversary.
Keep up the great work!

Hi Deneise, Congrats on your weight loss I am not a 10-31 sibling but I am an Oct sibling. I weighed my self at my 4 month anniversary this month and had lost 70 since surgery and 30 prior. I am so thankful for this blessing! I have been feeling great, just wish my hair would get a grip and stop falling out. Other than that I went from a size 26 to size 14/16. What a blessing!!! I hope you enjoy ever minute of your journey. Many more blessings to you
