Sorry for your loss. I had my surgery oct 1 03 as well. I have lost 80 pounds so far. My bmi is 31.2 and I am close to just being overweight and not obese. If you turn to food for comfort stick to protien and low carb veggies, they wont hurt you.

Hi Tanya, Congrats on the weight loss and I have not worked out much myself, but I have really been watching what and when I eat. I also now when I know I have eaten enough I just throw the food away or put salt in it or water, because sometimes those old habbits come back of eating when you know you are threw, so I just get rid of it so I do not nibble on it. For me I do not add salt to anything. Like this morning I had eggs and I let the one piece of bacon be my salt and that is usually how I do it, whatever I eat usually is naturally salty so I never add any salt. Now what my weakness is I want something to crunch at times. Adrienne

Hi Deneise, Here goes: Breakfast 1 egg over medium 1 piece bacon and half piece toast Lunch some boneless chicken and 2 forks of rice noodles Dinner 1/2 cup of Chili I have had 50 ounces of water and 1 8 ounce cup of OJ Thats it for me. Adrienne

Hi Toni... I can relate, my hunger has come back and I find I crave the sweets. I am trying to keep the protein high since whenever I have a carbohydrate I seem to be even more hungry. Congragulations on the weight loss.... I am down 52 pounds in 4 1/2 months, a little slow , but its 52 pounds less than I was 4 months ago. Keep up the great work!

I personally am having a hard boiled egg and one of those Dannon Low carb yogurts for breakfast. Lunch will be tuna Dinner will be corned beef and string beans!!! AND LOTS A WATER - how about you! RNY 10/31/03 257/180/150
