I feel the same way girl! Don't be discouraged, your doing great, I guess it just takes a while for our bodies to adjust. I know it could be frustrating. I'm addicted to the scale, and Im trying not to weigh myself everyday. It's just so tempting. I think Im gonna have my husband hide the scale and bring it out once a month. lol...

Makes sense Marilyn, I was at this weight 5 yrs ago for a while. I was hoping to hit the century mark by April 24 (6 month anniversary) but I dont think it's going to happen. That's about 20 lbs. away and I dont think I'll loose that much in a month. Well maybe if I get to that gym more often. We'll see when the scale starts moving again. Thank you all for the comments!

I read somewhere that after surgery when you get to a weight that you were at for a long period of time before surgery, your body will think that's where it should be and will stay at a plateau for a while. I was at 300 +/- a couple of pounds for over a month. Now before surgery a few years ago I was around 300 for close to 10 years. But then once the scales decided to move they have been doing really good until this week --I sure hope this doesn't mean another plateau, because I really want to get to 262 by 4/22 my 6 mo anniversary but I don't think I am going to make it now.

Hi Laura,
I too have fallen victim to the Terrible Plateu. It seems I do good for a few days then I go on a Plateu.

I feel like my loss has stopped. I know it hasn't though. My surgeon said this would happen, but I still don't like it. I just have to remember that I feel good and even if I stopped here I'm better off than I was 5 months ago.

Hi. You already left for you trip, I assume. Hope it was fun. I bet you fit on the bus seat better than you did before. I started college classes a few weeks ago and was so happy that I fit in the desks now. When I pack a lunch I usually take proven things like yogurt, cheese sticks, crackers, bananas. I have been craving fruit so much lately. I love mandarine oranges. I am so lucky/blessed that I can eat almost anything. Nothing really disagrees with me. I hope that isn't bad for me in the end and I regain weight. One of my sisters who had it done has been gaining back some weight. She needed to though. She got to a size 6 and it was baggy. She has gained back 15 pounds. Karen
