Hi, My surgery was on Oct.13,2003. I am 5'2" and weighed in at 246 before surgery. I now weigh 160.5 lbs and was just told that I am actually 5' 1/2".Sounds like everyone is doing wonderful. Some of us are faster/slower than others, but it's what works for each and I'm not sure that it's something that can be compared. Other than for a general idea. You know, different lifestyles and habits either help or hinder! Take care and God bless each whereever you are on this journey!

Topic: RE: I've changed my name!
I changed because you can Google me and I HATE THAT! I have stuff I do at work and don't want the whole MUNI to know what the heck I'm doing in my personal life. My gf stole my idea for a license plate so this is how I decided to be able to use it! It's fun anyway!

Topic: RE: Hood Milk
This product is great! Since we don't absorb fats anymore, no need to have the extra sugar in the fat-free variety. (Whenever something is fat-free there is always something else that is higher, darn it.) Since 98% of us become lactose intolerant after gastric bypass, some people have problems with it. I notice a big increase in gas but no stomach pains or diarrhea. I have about 1/4 cup once a week or so over some All Bran. Have also made up SF pudding with Carb Countdown. Another thing is that it lasts about two weeks in the fridge. I don't throw away much so I don't mind paying the $2.98 per half gallon. Sandra 5 mo post-op -103 lbs

Topic: RE: Crystal Light invention
Stacy, Crystal Light has two new flavors that you might like. I ADORE the new Sunrise variety. (Tastes like orange juice.) They also have a Red Grapefruit variety that packs plenty of taste. Try a fabulous drink called Fruit Refreshers too. (no sugar, 0 cal, no carbonation) It comes in several flavors but I like the Cranberry and the Lemonade. They are so good, I got my 19 yr old son to stop drinking sodas and jump on the Fruit Refreshers bandwagon! We get this product at HEB in San Antonio. Sandra 317/214/175 Open RNY 10/17/03

Topic: RE: Fitday.com--Great website
Linda, Fitday is a great place to go. I wi**** would tell you the sugar content also, however. That's my only complaint. Since it is designed for "normies" I guess they didn't think sugar grams was all that important to know. Sandra

Topic: RE: What is your goal?
My goal is to be a size 12 bottom and 10 top. I hope it fits my weight goal of 150 lbs. I am at 183 now. I won't be disappointed if I just make it to the 150s though.

Topic: RE: My Weight Loss is Very SLOW
Girl! From a 32 to a 20? That's great. I bet you are feeling better too. My son got done 7 weeks after I did and his weight is coming off much faster than mine. I'm trying not to be jealous. I'm really happy for him. I was on a plateau for weeks and thought, "Oh man, am I done loosing?" I'm not ready for that. Then yesterday it happened. The scale moved again. That was all I needed. Now I feel better. I just want to get to a size 12. I am a 16 now. Karen

Hi, My goal is to beat my surgeons goal of 195. I don't know why he said such a high number. I would love to get to 160 and then get all this extra skin cut out. Teri 306/216
