Hi all ! I am very slowly losing still, but I swear it goes for weeks without moving. I keep telling myself that this is normal and not to get on that scale, but I am afraid I will miss that magical drop so I perservere. Anyway, I am down 170lbs and currently weigh in at 174. I am in a size 10 and could really stand to have plastics but don't really want to put out the monies for that or go through the pain. So we will see. I want to lose another 10, but will be really happy if I just stay where I am. I am over 50 and know that I need to be realistic about this. I feel great and my labs are all in line. I feel so much better! God Bless! LeeAnn

My blood tests have always been great. Here is my routine: morning: 2 Centrum Chewables each day 1 tbs. liquid magnesium/calcium (from GNC) 1 dropper of liquid b-12 (from GNC) bedtime: 1 niferex (iron capsule..prescription) Hope you get things straightened around!! B-12 is the one thing I make sure I get. I remember how much of an energy boost is was when I first started it following surgery! Kathy

Topic: RE: Feb Roll Call
Hi everyone. I don't post or come here often anymore. In early December my husband got a really weird health problem and had to have 3 surgeries. I got to pay him back for helping me so much when I had my surgery. He ended up having a flesh eating bacteria under his skin on his abdomin. It took 3 surgeries to stop it. Anyway, life got real busy for about a month. Also, we are in the process of adopting 3 children who have been with us for 7 years. The paperwork and things we have to do to get everything in order is monumental. Also, it was the holidays. The good thing is I got to go skiing for the first time in 25 years with my two college age boys. I had a blast. I felt it for days and had many bruises to show for it. This is the one thing I was looking forward to doing when I lost my weight. One of our adopted boys learned why they mark the expert runs for experts. He had to get stitches. My weight loss has stopped. I think if I tried I could loose a few more pounds, but I don't care if I do. My goal was to be a size 12 on the bottom and a 10 on the top. I am now a 10 on the bottom and an 8/10 on the top. I'm in the "normal" range on my BMI. I feel great. Karen 256/150/145

Hiyas! Life is good. No weight change nor was any expected. I'm at about 190lbs and holding. Food tolerance is slowly, slowly getting better. The best news is that my internal thermostat is also slowly returning to closer to normal. My hands only get cold, not radiating cold. I generally don't have to wear a coat or sweater periodically in the house. And finally, I usually don't have to turn on the electric blanket anymore. Hugs all around. Joe

My bloodwork has remained within normal limits continually. My last blood test was a quarterly test performed three weeks ago. I'm doing fine with the following: Daily upon rising: Two (2) Chewable Flintstones or Land Before Time Two (2) Tums Calcium Tablets Weekly: Monday Mornings at Work One (1) 1000mg sublingual B12 --------------- But then maybe its just a guy thing.

Hello to all of my WLS buddies! Can y'all believe that this is our 16th month? As I posted earlier, I just had my tummy tuck with hernia repair last week. I'm still very wiped out from that. The day of surgery I weighed 170. The doctor removed 10 lbs of skin so technically I should weight 160. But with all the swelling, etc. my scale says 167. I'm so excited to see my results. I was a size 12 (very tightly squeezed in I might add) before my tt. I know the removal of that skirt will result in at least an 8 inch difference in my hips... so who knows what size that will be? My goal right now is to get fit for the Danskin Triathalon in June! Congrats to all my Oct. buddies, Jackie -235 and counting!

Can you all tell me what your vitamin routine is? I have moved from my surgeon and now I am so tired all the time. They did a blood work up and my iron is at 14 and he said it should be at 30. He told me your body can only handle 1000mg of b12 a month. My surgeon had me taking that much a day. I would love to hear what everyone else is doing. HELP. Thanks! Ellen
