Topic: RE: Aprils Goal is?....
Frvsnt One, Tomorrow is my 6 mos. anniversary. So I don't know what my weight is since last month. I am only weighing in once a month to keep my sanity. I am hoping to weigh in on a doctors scale tomorrow. I hope to keep up with my 8-10 lbs weight loss a month. I know things are slowing down now but I am cranking up that exercise a bit more to keep my furnace burning. I would love to shock my surgeon to be at 160 by July when I see him again. But wherever I am at I will be thankful. Blessings to all of you

That is so exciting!!! Congratulations!!!! I had my band made bigger about 6 mos before the surgery because I was depressed I couldn't wear it anymore and I will be getting it made smaller I'm sure in the next few months.

Congratulations Linda!!! That is the size I am wearing now too and size 16 is not far at all! The 18 is baggy on my butt and crotch area but the waist fits fine.

Congratulations Linda, This is a huge accomplishment. Isn't it a great feeling? This surgery is so life changing. I feel like I am in control of myself now. I too am now in an 18 dress, and 14/16 pants. I started at size 30 dresses, 4x tops, and 22/24 pants. 18's aren't where I want to be, but I'm sure a lot closer and happier than I was.
Keep up the good work!! We'll get there.

When I first started this journey--I set myself a small goal---I wanted to get to a size 18 (size I wore when I got married--many years and a divorce ago)--I even purchased some clothes in that size and put them away in my closet. Well today they fit!!! This may not seem like a big deal to many people--But I was wearing a size 34-36 woman before my surgery--5 months ago. I am a very happy person today---My next goal is a size 16--(which I wore when I graduated from High School in 1966. Yep, I have been overweight since childhood.

How cool is THAT! I know my wedding ring was welded onto my finger. If I drop much more weight I'm going to have to get it sized DOWN!!!
Congratulations on your success!!!
