Stacy, I think you're doing GREAT! Congratulations so far. I am about the same loss as you. I've lost 83 pounds so far since 10/31/03. I want you to remember that you didn't put it on over night so it won't come off over night. You sound as if you're doing the correct things so that's good. I'd look at your sodium - if you're getting too much that can slow stuff down. Do you exercise? if not, time to get started. I really notice my weight fall off when I do something. How abou****er? you don't mention anything about that. I get in darn near a gallon 5 days a week. The weekends are tougher because I'm not sitting at my desk.
good job so far!

Topic: RE: Aprils Goal is?....
My Goal for April is to eat right. I am down to 159.5 this morning...go me!!! I have lost 73.5 pounds since WLS on 10-13-03. I wear a 12 nicely and I haven't tried on a 10 yet as I want to "skip" that size and go for the single digits LMAO ... never happen! I still can't believe how my body is changing. WLS is a true miracle.

Topic: Does anyone else have these feelings?
Just wondering,
I am 6 months out and down 87 pounds. I feel like that is pretty good for weight loss although I was hoping I would be one of those people who could loose 100 pounds in 6 months. Anyway, I still want to loose 75 more pounds, and I stay scared that I won't make it because the weight loss has slowed down so much. I eat mainly protein, trying to stay under 20 grams of carbs a day. I never eat bread, chips, crackers, etc. unless we go to a mexican restaurant (maybe 1-2 times a month) and then I am a glutten and eat too many chips, and VERY SELDOM do I eat pasta or rice, and then it's only a bite or two. My weight loss is 2 pounds or a little under a week. I find it easy to stay on this plan, and have no plans to change up anything, unless someone has any suggestions. I guess what I am asking for is encouragement - Does anyone else stay scared that they won't reach goal? I guess it just seems so unreal to me to be at 150 pounds because I have never been there in my entire adult life. I want it so bad I can "taste" it, but it seems so unreachable at this point. Please someone, I need words of wisdom and encouragement. Thanks guys!! you are all the greatest. I don't know how I would make it without this website and everyone on it.
