I haven't had one, and probably will not be getting one. For one thing, my insurance won't cover it, and I can't see getting the money for it anytime soon. For another, the tummy isn't that bad! Upper arms, thighs and breasts are more of a problem, but then, I'm going to be 52 next month and I just can't see the point. I've lost 200 pounds. I'm 5'9", wear 16 jeans and a 14 top -- considering I started out as a size 32. I'm pretty happy with the results, as is, so I'll save the money and time.

About 200 pounds. I'm in a size 16 pants; 14 top. I am HAPPY! Labs are good, though this reminds me -- I sort of blew off my mammogram this year, so I'd better get it done when I get my next labs. Oh, the irony. My new boss just gave me -- for Valentine's Day -- a one-pound box of Godiva. A year ago, I'd have killed for it. Now, I have to share, because it just isn't me anymore. Darn it.

Hi Ellen! This is my vitamin schedule: Every morning I take one Centrum Silver. I take 3 - 4 Viactiv calcium chews spread out through out the day. Before bed, I take a prescription iron pill. Once a month, I give myself a B-12 shot, 1000mg. I have tons of energy since the surgery. If I go a day or two without the iron pill, I feel very fatigued. So, I make sure that I take it evey night. I'm not sure, but I think that too much of the B-12 is very dangerous. Just as dangerous as not having enough. You might want to get a second opinion about your vitamins, especially the B-12. Good luck! Your weightloss Buddy, Jane

Hi everyone! Life is good here! I've been at goal for a while, and holding nicely. My total loss was 173 lbs. I had my TT in November, and my belly is nice a flat. Last weekend I started shopping for spring and summer clothes. The thighs and upper arms are NOT a pretty sight...kinda like deflated balloons...but I guess its still better than "inflated" ones!! The thing is, people always say they could never have guessed that I was ever that heavy or have had that big of a weight loss.....well I won't be hearing that once they see me in short sleeve shirts or shorts! Thankfully it appears that longer shorts and capris are in again this year! I'd love to at least get my arms done, butI'm not liking the price thye are telling me. Guess I' ll live with it for now! Kathy 313 & size 26/28/ 140 & size 4/6 God is good!

Hello my weightloss buddies! Life is grand, isn't it? Who would have thought that we would all be talking about wearing size 6's - 12's? Not me!!! I wear 14's, but can wear a size 12 in sweat pants. I have lost 169lbs. since the surgery, and 212lbs. since my highest weight. I'm having the tummy tuck and arms done next Friday, the 18th. Send good vibes my way!!! I can eat anything, now. I've learned to stay away from the sweets. I had stopped losing for a while, so I slowed down on the sweets and upped the protein, and have lost 6lbs. in 2 weeks, again. I love you guys! Thanks for the support you have given to me. Jane

Hi all, With the surgery (TT, arms and thighs) lost 5 pounds, so I guess I'm maintaining now at 110. It seems a lot easier to maintain than it used to but I still get on that scale every day. Lucie

Congrats Jackie that's an amazing amount of weight to loose... 1. Have you had a tt? Yes, 4 weeks ago, including a thigh lift and arm reduction 2. How much skin/tissue was removed? I had 4# of skin removed, and 1# of fat from my thighs 3. What size were you before tt? size 4/6 4. What size do you anticipate being after the swelling stabilizes? probably a 4/2, my swelling went down now so I can put my jeans back on... when I came out of the hospital I had to borrow my husbands undies nothing would fit I was so swollen. 5. What is your total weight loss? A total now of 113# more than half of me 6. Are you happy with your results? I'm still recuperating from the surgery, it looks good but at the moment I'm not sure that the pain what worth the result, let you know more in a month.

Hey everyone, Life here in Oregon is grand. I am having trouble with meat again though, so that makes me sad. For the first 8 months post-op I couldn't keep meat down about 70% of the time, so I decided to give up on it and go vegetarian. Then back in November I introduced chicken only back into my diet, but now I keep getting sick off chicken again, so I give up! forget it! I'm sitting at 190 pounds, a loss of -159 pounds from my highest. I wanted to get down to 180 but what I REALLY wanted is to be a size 12, which I am. My body fat % is around 27%, which also makes me happy. I'm still at the gym 5x a week and love working out. Things are good! Amy Lap RNY 10/22/03 5'10: 349/190/180

Hi Ellen! I take the Bariatric vitamins, Vista Vitamins 2 x a day, Sublingual B complex every other day and Isotonix Calcium liquid 2x a day. I figure those that are designed for gastric patients would work best, and have had absolutely no problems with blood work. Good luck! LeeAnn
