OK folks. We have all been throught a lot in the last 6 months. Where do you see yourself in 6 months from now? What are you doing to get there? How will it be different from the last 6 months? In 6 months I want to be somewhere in the 150's. It is 25 pounds away, but since I have slowed down drastically it may be hard. I want to finally get over my inconsistance about exercising. I enjoy it now more than I have ever before, but I am still too lazy to go consistantly. Karen 256/179/155

Jane, I have noticed that I have started a habit I never had before surgery and that is that lately I always seem to cross my arms in front of me now I have tried to catch myself before I do it but I just can't understand what I am hiding. KAthy 318.5/227.5/-91lbs

Topic: Protein Packed Creation
Hi yall, I was sitting here today wanting something good to eat, yet I wanted it to be protein packed. So this is what I did Ingredients: 1 pound of Ground Turkey Meat 1 pound bag of Frozen Vegetable Medley 1 pound pack of Philly's cream cheese 1 block of Medium Cheddar cheese 1 block of Sharp Cheddar Cheese Brown your Ground Turkey and season to your taste, I used minced onions, minced garlic and salt free seasoning flavor. Boil your vegetables until tender, not mushy. Add a pat of I can not believe it's not butter, chop your cheese up and mix it it with Ground turkey, melt your cream cheese and mix with vegetables. Then take and layer a baking pan with the ground turkey and vegetables, top with a little of the shredded cheese and bake for about 15 min. Talk about good. OMG. This was just something i threw together, because I wanted to feel like I was eating some of my old dishes, just minus the pasta, all good carbs and each 3 ounce serving is 32 grams of protein. Just thought I would share. Adrienne

Kathy How much are you taking on a weekly basis. My doctor basically has his people on .5cc every three months. I talked to my brother-in-law who is a physicain and he felt I should be giving my self a shot more often. Just curious. Debbie

Topic: Soda pop is not good for us...
I love my diet pop, but I've noticed that I can eat more than usual when I drink it. So, I asked my surgeon about it. He said that the carbonation stretches the stomach and intestine to allow more food consumption. Needless to say, as much as I love my pop, I love my new body even more, so I only drink it when I go out to a restaurant. My surgery buddy cannot drink pop, because it causes her discomfort. I wish I felt discomfort when I first tried it. So, if you haven't tried the carbonated drinks, yet, don't. It's not worth it. Jane
