Topic: RE: 6 Month Anniversary
My six month anniversary was April 21. I am down just over 80 pounds and lose slowly...about 5-6 pounds a month now. The important thing to me is that it keeps going down. I have a hard time with protein so am still drinking Isopure. I will want to lose another 40 pounds which I expect to do by Christmas. I don't blame myself for the slow weight loss....and am actually not sure that 80 pounds in six months is slow! I am now about a size 12-14 depending on the brand. When I see that Size 6-8....ahhh!

Adrienne,
I know what your feeling. I was a 32 pre-op and am now a loose 20 too. Isn't it grand? I can't wait to be a loose 12!

What a fan-frickin-tastic attitude!!! YOU GO! I on the other hand am scale obsessed. I've lost weight 16 days this month. Yes, I keep track. I see it in my clothes and see it on the scale. I wish I could find the strength to release that stupid scale for a period of time. However, if that's what it takes to keep me motivated. I'm keeping it.
I'm so proud of you!!!

Topic: RE: Let's do the "vows", again!!!
Hi all,
I vow not to be so darn hard on myself. I am human and and I will allow myself to be. I vow not to pass out if the scale does not move down. I vow to continue to exercise 6-7 times per week! I vow to get all of my protien in! I vow to get more "straight" water in (love my crystal lite!). I also vow to help others in any way I can to become healthier and more confident!

Topic: My Realization!!!!
Hi Yall,
I have finally come to the realization, that it matters not what my Scale says. My clothes are saying it all. Now we all know how I have been seriously PIMPED by my scale. However I have cut all ties with him.
My clothes are steadily getting looser and I am doing a little more exercise.
I am not one of those Hawks, but I am doing what I can. However i am really starting to feel like the old Adrienne, the one that was confident and felt good and I like that. Some one in my support group Obese No More was asking for some size 32 clothes and I was in here looking for some and my husband said what is a 32? I was like the size I was in before surgery.
he said he thought I was in 26's bless his heart. I was like no Baby your wife was in a 32. I had no clue just how big I was. I am now in a loose fitting 20. How can i not be happy? HUH? I mean come on. But it took me 6 months almost 7 and all of you fine folks to help me realize that I am blessed and I thank GOD and all of you for helping me to reach my REALIZATION!!!!!
I Love you ALL
Adrienne(((((HUGS))))))

Topic: RE: Question for the ladies!!!
Actually hubby tells me they're a fraction of what they use to be. Although they're 36DD! They really haven't changed too much. Other people think they look great. I also think they don't look too bad considering I've lost 93 pounds! They don't look like tube socks with golf balls in the toes!!!

I think that it's a great idea for us to make a vow weekly. This week I already vowed at the beginning of the week to exercise more
and to up my protein. So far I have done AWESOME!!! I am so proud of myself!
Everyone keep up the wonderful work!
Sincerely,
