Topic: RE: how much can you eat now??
Okay, sulking here over you 100 pounder girlies! I've lost 93. I eat breakfast - yogurt (6oz) lunch - today was two slices roast beast with 2 slices cheese dinner will be 2oz of brisket with a few string beans I can't get in too much. I can get in 1/2 c of chili and the 6oz of yogurt, but I guess it's because I eat it slow and it kinda oozes through. Who knows Congrats my October buddies!!!

My son had his surgery in Dec. and three weeks later left for college. He is coming home tomorrow. I can't wait. We talk every day, but I have no idea what he looks like. He hasn't told me his weight and won't send pictures. He wants to surprise us all. He said it is a LOT of weight though, and being a man, I'm sure it is. He was on 6 meds for high BP and is now only on 1. I have a new body to show him too, he hasn't seen me since 2 months out of my surgery. I'm so excited about tomorrow. Karen

Hello everyone....I too was slow dropping last month, but kicked it up again this morning....I have so far lost 98.5 lbs from 318 to 219.5 yea me not long I hope to be under 200...I just think I will never reach that 100 mark...hehehe.....The scales seem to laugh at me at times....my hubby just shakes his head and walks out of the room when I start talking to them and yelling too....I am a scale addict !!! we need a support group just for that......well everyone sounds like they are doing well and about the same...I really love to be able to see that people about the same time as me are doing just about the same...makes you feel like your not alone or your not the worst loser out there...heheh...no pun intended...

You are doing great Tanya. You'll be in the Century Club before you know it. After going through the typical 5 month plateau, I started losing again. At 6.5 months I'm at -115. Even lost two pounds on vacation at my mother's house! Shopping is fun...I'm in a 16, down from a 26. Even my shoe size has gone from a 9.5-10 to an 8.5-9. Never have had the first problem, no hair loss, no loss of energy, no nausea or problems with food - nothing! I feel really lucky. I go to Curves every day (even on vacation) and I still keep my sugar to under 10 grams for the day and carbs under 20. I'm doing two 30 gram protein shakes a day plus about 50 grams of protein from food. No milk, bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar, fruit. Plenty of protein and veggies. Only 17 lbs to goal. Wow, it's been fast. Sandra in San Antonio 317/202/185 5'7" Open RNY 10/17/03

Topic: Vacation successes
Just got home from vacation in Florida at midnight last night. (yawn) Seeing my mother was good but I'm glad to be back. She knew I had lost a lot of weight but knowing and seeing with your own eyes are two different things. She doesn't know I had an RNY. She's a retired nurse who takes a simple hangnail and worries herself to the stage where she is SURE you will have to have your whole arm amputated. She thinks I had my gall bladder out and have been dieting/exercising since. All true. The successes? I managed to keep my secret, exercise at Curves via a travel pass, AND I lost two more pounds to boot! Sandra in San Antonio Open RNY 10/17/03, -115 lbs 317/202/185
