Topic: RE: I am sooo NEEDING YOUR GUIDANCE GUYS !!
Rachel,
I can't be much help, but I'll tell you what came to my mind as I read your post. My grandma was 36 when she got pregnant with my uncle, my mom was 36 when she got pregnant with me, my aunt was 36 with my cousin, and my sister was 36 when she got pregant with her twins. My sister-in-law was 36 when she had her first child.
I'M 36 NOW
Having said that... my kids are 18, 15, and 14. And the last thing I better get is pregnant. Try not to think about 29 being a ticking clock. Many women are waiting until much later in life to have their children. As a teacher, I can tell you that kids that have older parents are (for the most part) better educated, better adjusted and better behaved than the ones that have younger parents (mine excluded
).
Good Luck with whatever God has in store for you.
Jackie

Kathy,
I'm a little late to post, but oh well... I have lost 98 lbs since my revision on 10/23 for a total loss of 184 lbs from my highest. I am at 212 now which is far less than I weighed even in high school. Here's what's changed...
1. I teach junior high.. I can fit in a student desk. Not only can I fit, but I don't touch!
2. I went all over the riverwalk in San Antonio today... up and down the stairs, etc... in the heat and I didn't even think about the physical aspects of what I was doing. I was just enjoying myself.
3. When I buy clothes... I don't have to look at the size first. I can look at the style/color, etc. From a 32 to a 18 (some 16's).
4. I can actually see that I may eventually reach my goal of being a size 12.
5. I had the guts to quit my job. I have a new one starting July 1st.
6. I'm starting to like myself.
7. I love my husband more today than ever (and we've been married 17 years).
