Tanya, I would have to say there are many best. Bests so far, hearing people say"Oh my God is that really you, you look fabulous!", Seeing their expressions on their faces when they first see me. Being able to fit into a size 8 jeans, I would have never thought it possible. Being able to jog for 1 mile. Best, Best is no longer being diabetic or having morbid obesity health related issues.
Worst is sometimes fearing this will come to an end and I will wake up from this wonderful dream come true.
Blessings to all of you on your journey

Thanks Barbara,
I appreciate that. I am 26 pounds from 100 and I just feel i will never make it. I am down from a 32 to loose 18 and a tight 16 and I want to be at at a 10/12 by my anniversary, but if not i will stay hopeful. I would like to loose this 26 pounds by ovtober though.

best: having my blood pressure taken at doctor's office with a "normal" size cuff and it being normal pressure
best #2: being able to wear regular misses size clothes instead of plus sizes
worst: people that I told about surgery still not commenting on my weight loss after having lost 84 lbs.
worst #2: my mind still thinks I can eat a lot more than I do, at times I still cook and shop for the old me and through out a lot of food.
Thanks for the thought provoking question.

BEST: Shopping at the mall and everything I brought into the fitting room in "small people" sizes fit.
WORST: Still can't control my late night eating.

Lady A..
Don't get discouraged. We will get there.. I started at a very high weight too. 362 I finally made it to the 100 lb loss mark just this month. We all lose at a different speed. But I believe if we just keep doing what we are suppose to be doing the weight will come off in time. I am now at 263 and I still have over 100 more lbs to lose before I get to my goal. But.. I know I'll run into plataues and the scale will not move as fast as others
sometimes. I just keep coming back here to this website and encourage myself to keep going -- eventually we will get there. When I first ventured into this I was told the average is 100 lbs in one year. It's only been 8 month (June 28th will be) and I've made it to the 100 lb mark
so.. It gives me hope and satisfaction that I have been able to do that in less than the 12 months I was prepared to wait.
Hang in there. and stick with your program... We will get to our goals
eventually. Just think of how long it would take if you did not have the surgery...

I just read your post - I am also on the Depo shot - I went on it a couple of months after WLS - I just went back for my second shot about a week ago - I was pleasantly suprised that I was down another 34 lbs.
I was also concerned about not losing - I am sorry to hear that your weight loss stopped - I go back again in August for the 3rd shot and if the weight loss has stopped or I have gained any weight - I will also stop getting the shot!!

Please do not misunderstand my Thread.I am very happy for everyone who has loss and are down to a small size. I just hear of all of these folks getting down to sizes that I can only imagine. However these folks started out almost 100 pounds lighter than me. I rarely if ever hear of any folks that were my weight or larger talking about they have gotten down to small, small sizes. So if you are out there HOLLA IF YA HEAR ME
I started out at 336 which is almost 200 pounds overweight. I would really like to hear some success stories from some heavy weighters such as myself. I know that Ms. Nae has done awesome, but who else out there that was around my weight or bigger has gotten down to a really small size. I need some inspiration because I just do not see it ever happening for me.
Thanks
Adrienne
