I actually am on Effexor and Lexipro (and was before the surgery too) and they've done wonders for me! I really didn't have any side effects from either drug. Good luck! Barbara 256/179/140

Sorry I haven't been on sooner - had computer problems. Since 10/03 I am down 169 pounds, size 32 jeans now. Holding steady at 185. If I don't lose anymore I am still happy as a lark! Lester

Hi Tanya! I feel great, my husband says I look great, and I'm able to participate in my family's life, again. Life is grand! I've lost 146lbs., and I'm still losing. Slowly, but losing. I have decided that if I don't lose another pound, it won't matter, because I have accomplished what I set out to do. I feel human, again! Those of us who are at a plateau, need to stop and think about how we feel, instead of looking at those darn numbers. I only weigh myself once a month, now. I'm not so stressed when I don't see the numbers going down. I know that I will have lost a pound or two by the end of the month. Love ya all, Jane 362/216

I had one where I didn't lose (or gain) anything for 4 weeks, but turns out that i was PG. After that I lost 14 pounds in one week. This was pretty recent, so this was a special cir****tance. now I'm losing 2-3 pounds a week again which makes me happy Amy

Pam, I'm sorry you got on the plateau. I know how mad two weeks makes me, I can't imagine more! I hope you have great fun on your weekend with your girlies at the ranch. I'm actually struggling with walking right now because I had warts taken off both of the bottoms of my feet two weeks ago TODAY! And just let me tell you - OUCH! I still get 5 miles in, but OMG - talk about friggin' hurt and feel on fire by the end of the day.

I'm on one right now and I had one in January. The one in January lasted for 2 months and this one has been for 6 weeks so far. I had to back off my walking (per dr. orders) because I was having hip-pain and I think that may have something to do with it. I wish I had a pool so I could swim. My dr. said that would be great exercise and it wouldn't put any strain on my hip. Anyway... i sure hope I get off this plateau soon! I am planning on doing a lot of swimming this week-end at a Ranch that I'm going to go stay overnight with my 2 daughters. Hopefully that will put me over the edge! Good topic! Pam
