Going for a bra fitting today
I'm getting ready to go to Nordstrom's to be fit for a new bra. I am still in my old ones and things are looking pretty bad in t-shirts. I read an article that said that 80% of women don't wear a proper fitting bra and how stores are now hiring and training salepeople to be fitters. So, I am off to get fit. I have no idea what size I am at this point. It's not plastic surgery, but it HAS to help! I'm gonna keep these babies up one way or another!! LOLOLOL! Sunny
Depo-prevera = Birth Control from Hell =p can read my profile for more details on my experience with that. Quite a few women on this board share a similiar issue with that shot.
Now as far as the liquid/puree/soft/solid diets- I have not had the surgery but have been researching this aspect quite a bit. First, it is not uncommon to feel weak when on the liquid/puree diet- after all you're not exactly use to food intake that way! Why your surgeon (or PCP) moved you past liquid and puree is something you would have to ask them directly. From my research the liquid/puree/soft/solid diets are in place to help with the healing and your body's adjustment to the new way that it works.
Hey Sherry! We have the same surgery date! I'm 5'6" and went into surgery at 234 (down from 254). I'm on clear liquids for 2 weeks to let the swelling in the pouch go down, then full liquids/purees for 2 more weeks, then I can start with soft foods like eggs. They said I can eat anything I can tolerate at 7 weeks out. I think it is all just to give the pouch the best chance to heal, teach me some restraint, and get the weight loss going. I weigh in again Monday, but last week I was down 13 pounds in one week. We should keep in touch!
Had my fitting. The woman was so professional. Who knew this required so much training. She definately knew her stuff. I went from a 40D to a 36DD. No way! I looked at her like she had rocks in her head . But,sure enough they fit perfectly. The girls are riding high again. HeHe! The new bra looks like it took 10 additional pounds off of me. I suggest everyone go get fitted. I look down and feel like I'm 20 again. *blushing* and *laughing*. What a rush!! LOLOL! I feel like living in a wet Tee shirt all summer! Ya think this could be going to my head just a little bit? Na!!! I think this is my Wow! moment. Yippee!!
I was at wally world the other day and saw these little water filled thingy's to put in your bra which are supposed to help fill it out. Well for less than $6 I thought why not? Now I know why not, I didn't like the way they looked underneath so put them on top and they looked ok, I went to work and was in a training class this morning I looked down and one of the darn things had migrated half way out of my bra. I just wanted to die, our work stations were set up in a horse shoe so half of the class was facing me and I couldn't just get up and go to the restroom or I would miss too much. I got it pushed back down with out too much fuss, but when I told my partner about it we both were rolling on the floor. Good thing I can still laugh. Lesson learned..........buy a smaller bra.
Have a great weekend.
