A size 2-4. that down from 273 and size 26. I am struggling to keep weigh one. I have to eat all the time. I can't believe I HAVE to eat. Make myself eat. Anyone else have this problem? Carolyn

Hi Carolyn! I was concerned about stopping losing, and seem to have gotten it figured out! I had to add more carby (fruit/crackers/pretzels) snacks twice a day in order to do it, but it worked. I watch my weight daily as it can drop 2 lbs. in a day still. Now I'm being super cautious not to gain! My highest weight was 313. Today I weigh 144. I keep myself between 140 and 145. I am 5'9". I once was a size 28, and now am a size 4-6! I am very healthy and am not having any problems! Thank God for this tool! Kathy

Hi Carolyn Thanks for starting the April Roll Call! I've never felt so healthy, physically and mentally, in my whole life! I'm so happy that this surgery exists and has helped us and so many other people. I've lost 182 lbs., had my tummy tuck, extra skin from my arms removed, and had a hernia repair all in 16 months! I don't have a problem making myself eat. I eat very well, sometimes too well! Finally feeling good after the the tummy tuck surgery. That was rough, but worth it! I had 6 pounds of extra skin and fat removed from my belly, and 1 pound each from my arms. Eight pounds gone, just like that! When I feel like I'm eating too many carbs, I get back on the proteins, right away. I feel better and healthier when I'm eating right. Love you guys, Jane RNY 10/01/03 362/180/150 before/now/goal

Hi Carolyn, I'm 5'10, started out at 350, size 28. I'm now 182 size 12 and very happy Size 12 was my goal size and 180 pounds is my weight goal, so very close! For not eating, I'm personally not in the danger zone of losing too much, but I do not have an appetite most of the time. I usually eat breakfast, something for lunch, but rarely dinner. I try to get something in my stomach around 5pm before headed to the gym, but most times I forget. It's very hard to keep up on when you have no appetite and have broken your food addiction! I'm hoping to get reconstructive surgery in the next 12 months. Arms/belly/breasts! Congrats to you and everyone else on your accomplishments! Amy

I am 5', weigh between 134-137, and seem to have plateau'd at this weight! I work out twice a week and walk two to three times a week. I started out at 250, so I am very happy with my new body! I started out a size 22 and now wear an 8 or 10. I find I can eat alot more now than I could a few months ago. Tricia E. Bratton October 29,2003 251-135

Carolyn, thanks for the roll call, we seem to be quite quiet on this board lately. I started at 257 and am now at 130. I've pretty much been this weight since summer. My appreciation for this tool never ends. I've been going through so much personal turmoil lately that I've forgotton some of the stuff that keeps me balanced. I'm doing my best to recognize that and get back on track. The only things I have truly slated to do this month are: Go to my attourney on Monday and get briefed. Go to court on Tuesday and HOPEFULLY win against Son of Satan Take my vitamins. Pay my OUTRAGEOUS tax bill (sigh) Have a sewing date with my mother Appreciate my family more each day. Kinda like the theory I love you more today than yesterday but less than tomorrow. Take care of me. Hope all is well in our October 03 babies worlds!

Hey Carolyn, Congrats on your progress! I am 5'3" started at 251down to 124 & thankfully holding. I was having the same problem as you are. I was getting down to 119 but that was too low for me. I looked gaunt & unhealthy. What I had to do was to stop exercising. It has leveled me out at 124. Good luck. Judy

I've lost 129 pounds since my Oct '03 surgery! How exciting. I'm still working on the last 15 pounds. I'm counting on running to help lose that last bit of stubborn weight. My hubby says if I'd get my tt and lift I'd probably lose most of that But I'm STILL payn' off my 1st surgery. Life is good. This surgery has been a blessing. It is still hard work but it seems more managable now. Losing 15 pounds is more realistic then 100! I can eat almost a full sandwhich now. That is kind of scary. But I'm told by other post ops it is normal. I catch myself wanting to drink water when I'm eating. But I keep reminding myself that this weight can come back on UNLESS I follow the rules. Good Luck EVERYONE!

Hi, I'm 5'1" and started at 223 a size 22 and now I'm at 110 and holding at a size 2-4, I had the finishing touches done in January, a tummy tuck and extra skin remove from the arms as well as a thigh lift. Carolyn at one point I could eat often and still loose but that stopped so now I have to watch myself a little more. I feel great, and I weigh myself everyday because recently I started to tolerate most foods, though I can't each much of anything at a time. I can't believe how fast time flew by, I'm grateful for the by-pass surgery because though it's not the first time I loose a lot of weight it is the first time that I kept if off, what a wonderful tool.
