Twisted and kinky!

Hi everyone, Well, I really thought that I was out of the woods so to speak regarding complications at almost 15 months out. Right around my year visit to my surgeon, I experienced a bad pain in the middle of my chest just under my sterum. It felt like food was stuck but not were it does when you eat dry food or eat too fast. It radiated around to my back and made me want to try to go to the bathroom and throw up but couldn't. So she said to let her know if it happens again because she has seen people around 18 mos post-op develope kinks in the intestines right outside the new pouch. (RNY) She also said that it happens because we loose all the fat cells that were holding it in place so it kinks or twists. So, low and behold it did it again. This time I thought it was the stomach flu because everyone in my house seems to have stomach aches. After 4 hours of girgling and burping in tremendous pain I woke my husband and off we go to the ER. (same pain has my gall bladder before it was removed 10 years ago.) Well, I ended up having a twisted and kinky intestines fixed Lap. on Tues and am home now. Luckily she just had to anchor it in place so it would twist. Well, I'm rambling thanks to pain med. but thought I would share in case any of you experience it.
