Plastic Surgery Inquiry

Forgive me for my ignorance -- I checked out the message board from those who had surgery about the time I did (10/2003) and I have been wondering about this -- I have lost 150# and it seems to be time to be thinking about plastic surgery. I KNOW insurance isn't going to pay for any of it. Somebody TELL ME I'M WRONG ABOUT THAT.... any info helpful. WAY TO GO LOSERS and LOSERS-TO-BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jan, I couldn't tell you if you were wrong or right. The only person who knows this is your insurance company. I would just call them & say your doctor is recommending that you have reconstructive surgery (specify what procedures) & you would like to know if your policy covers it. Then you'll know for sure! Jan, Yup...check with your insurance co. Many will at least cover a tummy tuck (mine did) as long as you prove that you have lost more than 100 lbs. Good luck! Kathy
