Happy RE birthday to us all. I have yet to get pics in here and I really do need to. I have moved to New York State and have to find another surgeon to see with he 27th coming up. I have to have my gall bladder out and that surgeon is also a gastric bypass surgeon too. He had lost of questions for me and we really talked quit a bit. He also told me that he has a really good referal for the body lift, thighs and chest things I want done and will have to do the bat wings and the face at a later time. I would just like to have it all done as soon as possible.then I can start a job and feel normal and without all the extra shin to hide. I am so happy that I did this. I have lost 148 pounds and that is more then my 11 and 3 year olds put together now. I have hit a majob stand still but with the move and the water retention with the kidney problems I sure it will all get back to normal soon when I have the gall bladder out and part or most of the pain is gone. I was working out at Curves and then the pain started with the kidney back in June and I have not worked out since then. I really want to get the gall bladder out and then get back to working out again. I do love the work outs there and they don't even seem like you are working out and they really do a lot of changing to your body. I worked out from March to June and I lost 20+ pounds and like 40 some inches and started to notice the definition in my arms and legs and even a bit in my stomach too. Well happy RE birthday to us all and Way To GO!! Yea for us( and all you take this trip with us. God Bless and love to you all.... Shawna

Hi October buddies & happy birthday to all. I can actually say I'm healthier and happier than I've been my entire life. This past year has been a wonderful experience. I went from a size 26 to a size 8. I'm off all medications (except for vitamins of course). I do need to start lifting weights to stregthen my muscles but I'm working on it. Anyway, I am so thankful that these message boards exist. I haven't been to my support group lately & it's wonderful to hear what you all are doing so I can keep myself in check. I'm hopeful my next years will be as good as this one. Judy (251/141/?)

Hi Every-buddy I'm down 160lbs., I no longer suffer from Diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, acid reflux, and my asthma is completely under control. I am medication free!!! I don't even worry about the scale, anymore. I work out at Contours Express, 3 times a week. I can tolerate everything but milk and sometimes chicken. I plan 3 meals a day and 1 snack. I'm not good abou****er. I feel like the little girl from the movie Signs; I don't like the taste of it, it seems like it's all contaminated! I do drink a lot of Crystal Light and Minute Maid Lite Juice. I'm looking to have a Tummy Tuck and my arms done, soon. I want to lose all of the weight that my body wants to lose, first. I hope that all of you are as happy as me! Your WL Buddy, Jane

First of all...Happy Anniversary to all of us October "losers". This surgery has been such a blessing for me! I feel absolutely wonderful and I have gone from a size 24 to a comfortable 10. I am about 15 pounds from my goal! I will not need any further surgeries...I am fortunate that I do not have any hanging skin ( except for those darn bat wings but, even those are getting smaller thanks to my weight training class) I have tons of energy and I am doing some things that I only dreamed of ever doing. I do pretty well with my water intake...usually about 100 oz. a day. I exercise usually 5-6 days a week...alternating between biking, walking, running and weight training. Congratulations to all of us !! Deb 250/147/almost there!

Hi fellow October losers! Tomorrow is officially my one year rebirthday. What a wonderful journey this has been! Since surgery I have lost 139 lbs. and I am 158 lbs. lighter than my all time high. I am at goal, have a bmi comfortably in the normal range, and have my TT scheduled for Nov. 3rd. A year ago I wore a 24 or 26, today I wear size 10....and can button 8's, but the skin sags, so we'll wait til after the TT for those! Now for the hard part!! Exercising self control and making good choices without the reward of watching the scale go down. So far, so good! I look at getting dressed each morning in clothing I was certain I'd never wear as my daily reward, and reminder to behave myself! Thank you for everyones support and encouragement. It's been a pleasure journeying with all of you thus far, and I look forward to continuing to do so! Kathy 294/155/155
