QOTD for Monday
I went to a family reunion on my mother's side of the family. I haven't gone to one in about 10 years because of my weight. Not everyone in my mom's family is thin but I just did not have the strength or energy to pack up a picnic lunch and take it out to a park. Plus sit on those picnic tables that looked rickety and I would be afraid to sit on one.
I had a really good time, in fact, the picture on my posts was taken that day.
Awesome question, Pam!!!
I also attended a family reunion, this Summer. The reunion was a family camping trip. I slept in a tent, and was able to get up and down from the ground. I also played in the "Family softball" game. This is something that I would not have been able to do, last Summer. It sounds like our October Buddies are doing well, too! Jane
I wore a size 12 bikini in North Carolina! Mistake was going boogie boarding in it because mother ocean proceeded to beat me up and push me into the sand face first. When I stood up my right boob was hanging out for all to see, including the man who handed me back my board and his 3 year old son who was staring at me wide eyed.
Fun anyway though!

OMG AMY!!! That is hysterical! LOL I know you were embarrassed... but what fun! I love being in the ocean and the first time we seen it, (in Myrtle Beach, SC) we all went and changed into our swimsuits and jumped right in... well, the waves were HORRIBLE and they knocked us down more than once. My daughter (10 years old) got pushed down but she reached out to grab something to help steady herself and guess what she grabbed... MY SUIT RIGHT BETWEEN MY BOOBS ... and yep... she displayed me for all the world to see! LOL I dunked down so fast into the water I'm not sure who all seen it but boy do I know how you feel.. LOL Thanks for giving me the laugh for the day! Pam
I was actually able to participate in camp this year. I have been the crafts director for 7 years, but that is all I would do. This year I was in most meetings with the kids & actually did the nature walk which was a
1 1/2 mile hike through the woods. I felt so good doing that. Next year I WILL go horseback riding too.
