Do you feel the need to get back to the basics? I do. I am eating it all wrong... well maybe not all, but i am certainly way off track with things. I thought that i was "normal" now a few months backwhen i tiped the scales at 143# down 90#. I need to get below 132# to be at goal of BMI 24.9. I am now realizing it was that kind of thought that got me in the mess i was in with weight. I haven't lost but maybe 1# since July. It is because i am out eating the tool. I over eat at every meal it seems and talk about junk... eeerrrrrr. I still eat my protein first and then the vegis and starch last, but i eat it. Then, later after the meal i eat a low sugar/no fat icecream bar. During the day i eat "school lunch"... We all know how good for you that can be. WHINE.... I know, but i felt like admitting it was happening was an issue for me to address. Here, folks understand the battle and it is a start. Any commments are welcome... blast away, i have been sssssooooooo bad! Love you guys! Judy 233/142/132

Well, Judy... I'm not going to blast you... ever! Because, I think we're all in your shoes at one time or another. I also eat more than I think I should and not always what I should. I try my best to eat no carbs and only eat protein but there are times when I'd give just about anything to have a bite of something sweet (usually once a month right before I start). But, I still feel that exercise and an active lifestyle are key to keeping weight off. Now... ask me why I don't do it! I am so bad about it even though I am of the opinion that exercise is the key! I guess maybe I need some blasting too... lol. Maybe pull out some of your before pictures... maybe try to go back and remember the way you felt physically with all that weight on you... maybe try to think back of what inconsiderate people said about you... do you have any comorbidities that were cured from your weight loss? Remember that those are not gone forever... just better. They can sneak back up on you before you know it. Do you have any children or grandchildren that you can try to think of when you get into those moods where you don't care what you eat? You know you want to be healthy and active for them. I'm 43 years old and I keep telling my husband that we're in the last end of our lives and I don't want to live them sheltered in my home like I did for the past 20 years. Also... do you measure out your food before you eat it? I think that is where Weigh****chers is good... maybe join a weight loss club like that to help keep you on track. I hope that something I've said has helped you... i'd rather try to help you than blast you! You take care... and you've done phenominal... you just keep up the good work! Pam
