What's your biggest pet peeve now that you've had your surgery. Mine is when my kids take and eat my "special" food. Oh how that irritates me! I buy them all the stuff they like but they like to eat my "treats" first!

I guess mine would be that people still think I took the easy way out of my weight problem. If it was so easy why didn't I choose it first instead of it being a last resort.

That bothers me too Peggy... It's one reason I still haven't told everyone about my surgery. Also because I can just see them looking me over with a magnifying glass watching to see when I will screw up and start gaining again. Grrrr!

My mother, 86, who lives with us loves to eat the things I eat. I finally had to put them out of her reach, and she isn't agile enough to climb. But my pet peeve is: I'm cold so much of the time. I'm always wearing long pants and have a sweater/coat on hand even during the summer. Starting this time of year when its finally getting down to the mid-50s at night I have placed our electric blanket back on the bed. I'm using it nearly all night every night now. It gives me the mental image of one of those size one 90 lb women in most of the offices I have ever worked. You know the ones who are always cold and complaining to turn off the A/C or up the heat.

ROFLMAO! Ever since my surgery, I, too, have been cold. I was the only one remotely comfortable in my family this summer! The funny thing is, I used to have ferocious hot flashes. No more!

I haven't broken my "hotness" yet... I wish I would cool down some. I'd much rather be cold than hot... there's only so much you can take off and still go out in public! LOL I have a co-worker in my office that freezes too... but she wears these sleeveless & tanktop type of shirts... I want to tell her to dress decently and she wouldn't get so darn cold. She's always wanting to turn the air off... grrr... that's why I will never work without a mini-fan sitting on my desk. I cannot stand to be hot.
