Okay, so after reading that a lot of us wish the board was more active and perhaps we could generate some additional flowage here - I thought of something... So - what are YOU doing this 3 day weekend? I myself am taking 2 more days off to spend the last of the summer with my bambinos! Then on one of the days my DH is working, figured I'd take the girlies out and we'd all get pedicures. I'm also going to hit the streets in my neighborhood to get people to sponsor me for the Heart Walk that is taking place on 9/11/04. I'm doing good so far but I want to do GREAT! Your turn...

Hi there! I am also taking an extra day off to spend with my family. My husband gets Mondays off anyway because he works every Saturday so when the holiday falls on a Monday, he gets Tuesday off instead. So, we'll have a long-er week-end.. lol. I think I may be inviting some of our friends over for a cook-out... you know, a last summer blast! We talked about it a few weeks ago but haven't set anything in motion yet but we are all last minute people anyway. I also have to get some blood work done and need to fast for it so I guess one of those days will be spending getting that done. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day week-end!!! Pam

Tanya, might I suggest walking a new path. Perhaps taking a hike or a bike ride? Go out and meet someone new in an entirely new setting! Take some risks with your new self! OR curl up in a big squishy chair with a fluffy comforter, some decaf tea and an excellent book and jus****ch the world drift by.... Whatever you choose to do or not to do - I hope it makes you happy!

I am really looking forward to the long weekend. The traveling Vietnam Wall is here for the weekend and I am volunteering each of the 3 days. I am working as a medic and then will be assisting in the grief/loss tent as needed. I am so excited....the memorial came into town yesterday with 1000 motorcycles escorting it in...what an awsome and moving sight. I am hoping to get in some biking and then I have an actual "date" on Sunday for dinner. This dating thing is something new for me......it is fun but, also can be frustrating and confusing. I am too old for all this...LOL Have a good weekend, everyone! Deb 250/153/almost there!

i'm working on Monday so I can take an extra vacation day whenever I want to. I'll be at the gym Friday for personal training, then going out to a lovely local irish bar that night. Saturday more workouts and hopefully there will be nice weather for a run outside! Sunday MORE workouts and hopefully some sleep, then monday work! Typical weekend for me I suppose, nothing out of the ordinary, but getting ready for my parents to come visit me from Michigan for a week. Also trying to occupy my time while my boyfriend is in Vegas with his buddies this weekend. Have a great one! amy
Happy 2.

I am actually going to have time to exercise 4 days in a row. I walk 4 miles with my husband. It is such a good time because we get to talk uninterrupted. On Saturday I get to send my oldest son off to his junior year of college 2000 miles away. It doesn't get easier as he gets older. Another son is in his senior year in southern CA. He left last week. Boo Hoo. We still have 4 kids left, so I better get used to it, huh? It's just harder for me with the oldest son because he had WLS in December and is going through so many changes. They are all good ones. I'm rambling, so I'll stop. Karen 265/158/154
