Abdominoplasty and breast reduction
I was approved! For my Abdominoplasty and breast reduction yesterday Will find out later today when it will be scheduled.
To date I have lost 127 lb. 275 LB seems like a life time ago. I am so happy. I have not one regret about having the bypass. I have not had one complication.
From a size 28 down to a size 10 and that's be for the tummy tuck.
The other day my husband and I went to a picnic. There was this guy that had put a new roof on for us last summer. I have not seen him after that. he came up to my husband (the guy had been drinking a few) and said, so you dumped the fat *****y wife and moved up to that hottie. Good for you. Well, my husband said you only got it half right. I dumped half of my wife but not one once of the *****iness.
When that guy found out it was me he when around the hole time he was there telling everyone it was me so they would not be as dumb as him.
Thanks for reading Carolyn
I'm so happy for you, Carolyn!
You did it! You accomplished something that others are only dreaming that they can do. I will never regret the decision that I made to have the gastric bypass. I have lost 152lbs., and I only have 50 more pounds to go. Then, I can have MY Tummy Tuck and my arms done!
I only wish that the media would show how many more successes there are than the failures of the surgery. It makes people afraid to even consider it. I have set a few people straight with the facts. Maybe someday, the truth will come out, and people won't be so ignorant or afraid. I for one, was more afraid not to have the surgery.
Congratulations, again! Your WL Buddy, Jane 362/210
Congrats, Carolyn!! And good for your husband for his comments back to that jerk of a roofer. I'll bet that guy felt like such a jackass!
I, too, have been approved for abdominoplasty/panniculectomy with hernia repair (not from my open rny - rather from the c-section I had two years ago with my daughter). Still no date scheduled yet, either. The damned hernia and hanging pannus are keeping me in a size 22 (still not bad, considering I was a 34/36W!) 'cause I have to buy clothes to accommodate the hernia's massive size! Fortunately, the doc thinks I'll be wearing 14/16s after the work's done. That'd be wonderful, but I'd be THRILLED to be anywhere in the teens!
Again, congrats! Let us know when you get a date!!!!
