First trip to Victoria Secret

Okay ladies, I do not know about the rest of you but in all of my life I have never ever set foot in a Victoria Sectet! So yesterday at the mall with my girls I decided that Mom needed a new bra. So I go into the place and say to the nice sales girl, "Uhhh do you carry bras in size 38D" She said yes and proceeded to take me back to the dressing room where I could try on different bras. I was a little freaked out by having the sales girl come into the dressing room to check for size but what the heck I wanted one that make the "girls" look their best. So the girl hands me several of what I considered "regular bras" and I said. I am looking for some a little more daring so she helped me find my very first push-up push in sexy as heck bra!!!!! I am very inpressed with the "girls" the sure are purkie under my t-shirt today!! So $40 and change later I walked out of that place with my first sexy bra and just a little more confidence! Hi Tanya, I did the exact same thing! Except my 'golden globes' were always small, even weighing in at 344 pounds I was a B cup. But now I'll ONLY wear their undies, nighties, lingerie, everything. In fact, I'm so addicted my new card is maxed! Not sure if thats a good or bad thing... Shop on! -Deb

I went there a few times but only to buy frangrances & lotion. And thank goodness that part is seperate from the lingerie part. They probably would have laughed me out of the place. I still wear a 44DD so don't think I can go there just yet but hopefully someday. Congrats on your 'uplifting' experience... i REALLY need some uplifting too, if you know what i mean! Tanya, Good for you! I have always wanted to visit them, and we walked by the store last week, but I have never dared their doorsteps. I may try. Although my small eggs, are hardly worthy. I have always been small on top only a size B at over 300 lbs, but even they are flattening out. I may try it now that you have dared the water! Congrats on taking such a brave step. Well, I'm happy that your trip to VS went well. I do have a bone to pick with Vicky myself. What makes her think that only average size women want sexy lingerie? I used to say that Victoria's real secret was that REAL women can't fit into her stuff! I went in recently looking for a size 7 panty and was told they don't carry panties that large and that I should go to Lane Bryant. Now I'm down from a 10, so to me 7 is looking pretty good. That was frustrating. She also told me that I wouldn't be able to find lingerie in their store to fit a size XL or 14-16. Here I was feeling excited about being a "normal" size at last and Victoria goes and makes me feel like a "fatty" all over again. Vicky would do well to either give their employees some sensativity training or better still carry real women's sizes!! Remember Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 !!

Barbara, your experiece was not acceptable. I would go either go back and talk with management or call their corporate office. First of all they carry up to sixe 18/20 xl in most items and 14/16 lareg in the rest. The sales person you encountered was a jerk and do not let her make you feel bad. She obviously has issues with anyone who is not a sixe "0". Do not let her affect you, you are doing great!!!!!!! Hugs!
