I finally did it!!
I cleaned out my closet and took out everything that does not fit. I was cracking up at the amount of clothes I had compared to what I have now. My walk in closet can fit ALL of my clothes on one rack!!!! But I do not care. I feel clensed, I feel new again, I feel like I have to call and get those old clothes picked up!!!! I have bought some clothes and can say for the first time in many many many years the criteria for an outfit was not how much it covers but what it shows off! I have always had big boobs, and small waist, and big butt. I used to say that I was the economy size hour glass figure. Now I am working toward the normal size. I still have about 50-70 pounds to go but heck that sure sounds better than what I needed which was 205!
Thanks for listening!

Tonya - I know the feeling. I've been doing mine little by little as I have a sister who is not in good financial straits so I've been passing on my clothes to her.
I saved 2 pairs of pants though and a couple of shirts so I can have something to look back on. One of the pair of pants are flannel pajama bottoms - I wear them around the house sometimes but I have to roll them a few times to get the elastic to hold em up - when family stops by to visit and catch me in them - they laugh (and so do I). These pants and shirts give me comfort and remind me of my "roots".
Congrats on your weight loss - I'm proud of you.

Good for you Tanya. It feels so good to get rid of that stuff, doesn't it? Be sure to keep a few of your favorite things...you'll enjoy pulling them out once in awhile to remind you of how far you've come.
Are there any support groups in your area that would be interested in having a clothing exchange? I considered selling some of my things but decided it would be more satisfying to donate them to a WLS clothing exchange. Pre-ops can always use your big stuff, and others will appreciate having access to some smaller sizes as they shrink. Some of my things have been through five different people already. I laugh everytime I see them show up at another clothing exchange...looking for a new home.

Yes Tanya you did it. isnt it wonderfull? I have lost 110 lbs and am in sizes 12. 10 . and some 8s !! I am still not able to keep fleshy type of meats down. like pork and beef and chicken . unless of course its practically soupy. i used to be able to drink protein drinks but i now have dumping syndrome if i drink them. its really hot here in Phoenix where i live. and having shed this much weight has really helped me tolerate the triple digit summers. anyway, i just wanted to check in and say hello to you, its been a while since i talked to you. take care, love, Loretta
