I don't look like my ID!!!

For weeks now I have noticed that I don't look like my driver's licence. I am 85 pounds lighter, shorter (thinner) hair, new glasses. Today I went to the college book store and when I had show my ID, the lady said, "This doesn't look much like you, you have lost a lot of weight." I explained to her about the surgery. She was very happy for me and wants to tell her best friend about me, to encourage her to get it. Karen

Congratulations. I don't look like my ID either. When I reach goal I will conveniently lose my license [think shred it] and pay 10 bucks to get a new ID. A little present to myself.

Hi Karen! I lucked out. My license expired this past April. I had lost 120lbs., when I had my new picture taken. It's unbelievable, how my looks had changed in six months. I use the photos as my before and after pictures. When I showed them to my Dad, he got tears in his eyes. That's when I decided to keep the old license. I've had a lot of people ask me questions about the surgery, too. It's a great feeling to show people that there's hope out there for them. Take care Jane 362/230
