I am just wondering. Do any of you throw up any more? I hadn't for over a month and then tonight I had a little bowl of cereal and it got stuck. You would think I would learn. My father had this surgery 20 years ago and he throws up all the time. I do not want to be like that. Karen

Good Morning Karen I still throw up it is rare... but still do. I just think of it as my tool still working with me. I used to think you can not over indulge but as time progresses I find myself eating more. It is just a reminder when I do eat too much or not chew enough whatever it may be that my tool still works. Hi Karen, I also throw up, though rarely now, if I'm distracted and don't chew properly or swallow to fast. Lucie

Oh boy, Karen! Just last week, I ate some corn-on-the-cob for the first time since my surgery. CORN-ON-THE-COB is a very bad thing! I usually take a small bite of a food that I haven't tried since before the surgery, but silly me ate the whole piece. I was in agony until it all came up. I was in pain for an hour. It lodged itself in my pouch. So, for me, I will never eat corn-on-the-cob, again. It's not worth the agony. And it has no nutritional value, that I need. I agree with the others, I think that it's just our tool at work. I like knowing that it's going to be there when I need it. And boy did I need it last week! lol Jane
