May 04 Roll Call
Sorry everyone I was late in posting this but here goes. I am down 97 pounds (soooo close to the cent!) I am still working out 6-7 times per week and eating right a drinking my fluids. I have had a stomache viris for 10 days now and am going to see the doctor today. Everything I eat just goes thru me and I am getting dehydrated. I talked to my surgeons office and it is not surgery related. I want this to stop though so off to my pcp i GO.
So how is everyone else doing????

Tanya:
I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling lousy with the stomach virus. Good for you for going to see your PCP.
I'm working out 4-5 times a week, never taking more than 1 day off between workouts. I find this keeps me going and makes it a habit. The weight loss has slowed down but the inches are really coming off lately, like my skin is playing catch-up to the scale. All the clothes I bought back in March for a cruise are now too big! I hoped I could get through at least part of june with them, but not when the skirts fall right off! Time to go shopping again, darn!
Hang in there, take care of yourself, you'll be at the century mark in no time!

Hi Tanya and all my October siblings, Time sure is moving along. I can't believe I am at my 7 month anniversary. Pretty soon it will be a year for all of us. I am down to 190 and fitting into a size 10 jean. I am so amazed every time I weigh myself on my anniversary. It is a blessing for sure. I exercise 5/6 times a week sometimes 2x a day. I have noticed my appetite increasing these last couple of months so I try to compensate with more exercise. I am so blessed and thankful for this surgery, it has allowed me to enjoy life again. Blessings to all of you on your journey.
Hi Tanya! I am frozen at 95lbs down, for 3 weeks now. Oh well, it too shall drop. I am down in sizes to a 16 in most things now and feeling really good. Exercise 5 times a week, walking and airdyne. Pool is almost warm enough for my delicate tootsies! Anyway, keep up the good work. I cannot believe it will be 7 months in a few weeks. Unreal! God Bless! LeeAnn
You are doing great Tanya. You'll be in the Century Club before you know it.
After going through the typical 5 month plateau, I started losing again. At 6.5 months I'm at -115. Even lost two pounds on vacation at my mother's house! Shopping is fun...I'm in a 16, down from a 26. Even my shoe size has gone from a 9.5-10 to an 8.5-9.
Never have had the first problem, no hair loss, no loss of energy, no nausea or problems with food - nothing! I feel really lucky. I go to Curves every day (even on vacation) and I still keep my sugar to under 10 grams for the day and carbs under 20. I'm doing two 30 gram protein shakes a day plus about 50 grams of protein from food. No milk, bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar, fruit. Plenty of protein and veggies.
Only 17 lbs to goal. Wow, it's been fast.

Hello everyone....I too was slow dropping last month, but kicked it up again this morning....I have so far lost 98.5 lbs from 318 to 219.5 yea me not long I hope to be under 200...I just think I will never reach that 100 mark...hehehe.....The scales seem to laugh at me at times....my hubby just shakes his head and walks out of the room when I start talking to them and yelling too....I am a scale addict !!! we need a support group just for that......well everyone sounds like they are doing well and about the same...I really love to be able to see that people about the same time as me are doing just about the same...makes you feel like your not alone or your not the worst loser out there...heheh...no pun intended...
Good Afternoon Tanya and everyone!
Well it's been interesting. I lost 22 lbs the first month and have either lost 12 or 13 lbs each month since. This month doesn't look like it's going to be an exception. I'm at 221 today... that's down 89 lbs since surgery and down 175 lbs since my first WLS. My 20's are loose on me, but the no stretch 18's aren't comfy yet.
I have found that I could live on lowfat cheese and watermelon (I even planted some!).
Keep up the good work everyone!
Jackie
Hey Tanya! Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. You'll hit that 100lb. mark, soon(especially when you have a stomach virus, aye?) Let us know what the doctor says.
I am down 130lbs. My 7 month anniversary was May1st. I can't believe how much weight that I have lost, in such a short amount of time. But more importantly, I love the way that I feel!!! I feel like I can take on the world! I exercise a couple of times a week. I love to dance! Something that I never thought that I would be able to do again. But my miracle has come true, thanks to my wonderful doctor, and support group.(you guys included) I hope that everyone is as happy with their results as I am! Love ya all. Jane 362/232
