6 months and counting!

Hi all, well I made it to my 6 month aniversary and finally the scale has started to move. I am down 91 pounds and counting. I am closing in on the century mark and can hardly wait. My size 18 jeans are really big on me and that makes me so happy. Only one problem, I do not have any smaller clothes. Guess I will look like a clown for a while All in all I am feeling great, looking better and loving life Tanya -91

YEAH Tanya! Congratulations! I know it was tough, especially since you broke your leg in there! You should be so proud of yourself. I cannot believe it has already been 6 months. There are days when it feels like just yesterday, and others when it seems like a lifetime ago. Keep up the great work.

Good job Tanya!!! Isn't that a good problem having clothes that are too big. I know what you mean though. I found a lot on sale at Sears. I skipped sizes though. I went from my 22/24 to a 16/18. Now I am looking at and buying 12s. I will skip 14 unless I see something really cheap. Karen

Hi Tanya, First of all great job on your weight loss! I can't believe how much difference 6 months has made. I just wanted to add that I go to goodwill once in a while and look for clothes. If I see something too small now I go ahead and buy it because I know if will fit at some point. I also look for the color of the tag that is half price. It's so nice to get a pair of Liz Pants or shorts for $1.50. I'm also finding that the smaller sizes usually look brand new. My closet has turned into an array of close from everything down to 8's.
