****PROTEIN QUESTION****
Hi all I was hoping that someone could help me with this:
I want to know if I put 1 and a half scoops of unflavored protein powder in my coffeE grounds in the morning before I brew it will I still be getting the protein or will it suck up into the cofee grounds????
I know this sounds like a dumb question but I need my cofee in the morning and I also need my pretein and my new tummy won't let me do both......
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

There is an unflavored high quality blended whey protein powder called Pro Cel that can be added to hot things. (Most protein will become unstable in hot drinks/foods & therefore useless.) Go to www.vitalady.com and read about it.

Ms. Rikka, You may want to talk to Susan Maria about this, she has mentioned it before on the main message board. The protein breaks down if it is boiled or cooked, I think you can add it in after the coffee is brewed but I don't know for sure. Maybe check the main obesity help library on this subject too. I use GNC !00% inst. Whey. It does clump bad in real ho****er, but I take a little coffee and put a little ice just to cool it down a little then put my scoop or sometimes 1 1/2 scoops of the choc protein in the cup mix it up real good then add the rest of the coffee. I sometimes add a little Irish cream to it and boy is it good!!!! I also put it in s/f hot choc sometimes.
