Well today is my 6 month anniversary, and I have lost a total of 88 lbs so far. I really feel like I am loosing so slow compared to everyone else that had it around my time?...I will have a couple of days that I can not hardly eat at all and then one day I starve alllllll day and then drop right after I eat that way. I am soooo confused I go up two pounds on the days I do not eat much and then drop it and back to square one. I wanted to loose the last two pounds by 6 months sooo bad. I was dreaming of being in the century club by 6, but saw it was not gonna happen for me. So I said what the heck say 90 lbs. That at least is one of this little bitty college girls running around Auburn University....I can say I lost one of them... I am now praying that I will loose the last 2 lbs by tomorrow morning...hehehe....that is my monthly support group meeting and I want to say soooo bad I hit the 90's ... Well thanks for letting me vent her with you other October guys.... Love Rachel

Congratulations. It is my six month anniversary today also. I have lost 95 pounds. I thought that I would have lost 100 by now too. I did not make it. I have a difficult time staying away from the carbs. Anyway happy anniversary. Just think 6 months ago today you were 88 pounds heavier. We only have one way to go and that is down

Thanks. I need about 26 pounds to my goal. I am so excited for summer to come. I can not believe I am actually saying this but I can not wait to go and buy some swimming suits. Yes swimming suits. Water intake is a big problem for me to. But everyday is a challenge especially when you feel like you do not eat enough and that darn scale does not move. Oh well tomorrow is another day.

Congratulations Ladies!!! And Happy Anniversary too! I'd like to make 92 pounds by my 6 month anniversary. I'm shooting for the century club on May 21. That's our sons wedding day. It would be great to say that the weight I lost (100 pounds), I gained in a daughter in law! RNY 10/31/03 - 257/175/150

Well, congradulations to all of you. You have done great. I want to be below 170 pounds and that means I have to loose 9 pounds by the 24th. I came across a "plateau breaking diet". I think I will start that on Monday. It worked for me the last time. If you are interested in it let me know. Karen

Congrats on your anniversary! It sounds like you are doing just fine. I copied the plateau breaking diet just a couple of days ago, here it is. #1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?) peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths/bullion (sp?) crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! #6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily. Hope this is what you wanted and it helps!
