When I first started this journey--I set myself a small goal---I wanted to get to a size 18 (size I wore when I got married--many years and a divorce ago)--I even purchased some clothes in that size and put them away in my closet. Well today they fit!!! This may not seem like a big deal to many people--But I was wearing a size 34-36 woman before my surgery--5 months ago. I am a very happy person today---My next goal is a size 16--(which I wore when I graduated from High School in 1966. Yep, I have been overweight since childhood. Linda

Congratulations Linda, This is a huge accomplishment. Isn't it a great feeling? This surgery is so life changing. I feel like I am in control of myself now. I too am now in an 18 dress, and 14/16 pants. I started at size 30 dresses, 4x tops, and 22/24 pants. 18's aren't where I want to be, but I'm sure a lot closer and happier than I was. Keep up the good work!! We'll get there. Stacy McClain 310/223/150 goal

Congratulations Linda!!! That is the size I am wearing now too and size 16 is not far at all! The 18 is baggy on my butt and crotch area but the waist fits fine. Erin

Good for you. I started skipping sizes though. You may not need a 16. I went from 20 to a 16 and now am only buying 12s. Karen
