I was just wondering how everyone is doing in this area? I try to only weigh myself once a month. But now that I am going on my 5th month I was thinking should I weigh every other month. I don't want to sabbotage myself by not seeing enough lbs gone, ya know what I mean??? Please let me know what you think, thanks for your responses.

HELLO - MY NAME IS DENEISE and I'm a SCALE JUNKIE. I haven't been clean for almost 2 months. I have to step on it every single day. I sometimes feel the need for a little "quick" fix and jump on it before I go to bed. Hoping to see a change in the morning. I need a scale like a smoker needs a cigarette, like a junkie needs a hit, like an alcoholic needs a drink. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

DAILY!!!!!!!!!!! I still weigh daily and i only record it weekly on Sunday. I am one of those who is not to worried about the weight comming off, I am just currious about what my body is doing about it. I didn't get this done to weigh less it was done to better my health. Both are great reasons to watch the scales. I am not yet bothered by the lack of fast weight loss emotionally. This month i have lost less than any month prior (#5) but it hasn't seemed to waver me emotionally. Not that it wont happen... just not yet. It has never been about weight for me. BTW: I feel great and the pain is all but gone from the joints and feet... Now that is something to sing about...LOL. Have a wonderful month. Judy

You are doing great just weighing once a month. See what happened to the rest of us, we can't sop weighing every day. To me my loss seems really slow because of it, even though I know its not. Keep up the good work.
Happy 2.

Hello, my name is Karen. I am a scale-a-holic. I have to weigh every morning and even some evenings. Could it be that I will have to have someone hide my scale? I have thought of doing that. Then, who knows to what extent I will go to get it back. Karen

Wow only once a month that is great! I was proud of myself for only weighing myself once a WEEK. But you are even better. Some days it is hard for me to wait the whole week too. I had never heard the only weigh once a month thing before. Alls I knew is I did not want to buy a scale and get addicted. It is so reassuring to step on that scale and see a loss, but we are getting to that stage where that is slowing down and it could be very unmotivating for some.

Emily, Thanks for your response. Believe me it is hard to hold out for a month. I always want to know where I am at. But my clothing sizes help me know too. I know I workout harder towards the end of the month to assure my weigh in the next month will be good. So at least there is some incentive. Congrats on your success so far. Keep up the good work.

Hello my name is Toni and I am a scale-a-holic. I weigh every morning when I get up, which is 5 a.m. I always weigh naked and after I have gone to the bathroom - we all know that urine weighs a whole lot Weighing this much does drive one crazy because you see all the fluctuations. Sometimes I gain and lose the same pound over and over again for days before they scales show a loss. For example, for the last week, I have been between 214 and 211, today being 212. Can anyone help me, is there a support group. Can you tell me your secret??!!

Hello, I weigh everyday, sometimes twice a day and believe me, that scale pimps the heck out of me too. I get so frustrated I wanna just break it up, but I keep going right back. Adrienne
