Just found all of you!!!!
Hi everyone,
I am so excited I just found this site. You are just what I have been needing. It is so cool just reading what all of you are doing and feeling. I am almost 4 months post opp on the 9th. Everything is going well. I haven't had any complications. I am so glad I had this surgery. It is surely a gift. I am losing my hair right now but I am taking liquid vitamins and a vitamin called biotin, everyday! I guess it is not as bad as it could be. I am down 46 lbs. It is very slow for me. I am going to curves 3 days a week and walk 2 to 3 miles on the other days. I have the protein intake down pat. I am getting 20 grams a proein 3 times a day. I eat 3 ozs of meat, which I weigh, 3 times a day and alot of water in between. I don't have any room for anything else and I am not hungry for the first time in my life. That in its self is a gift. I do alot of shrimp or fi**** took me a few months to be able to eat shrimp. I can now and I love it. Anyway thanks for all of you being here. Its great to be connected.

Welcome to the losing side. I am 4 months post op, down 100lbs and feeling great. I have experienced some hair loss but it's minor. I try to stay active, mostly walking but I'm limited by a severely arthritic knee. I have had the opportunity to sit comfortably in movie theater seats. What a feeling, truly wonderful. I can shop at Wal-Mart instead of Big-and-Tall shops for the first time in a long, long time. Bill
Welcome aboard Linda, I believe we share the same surgeon, Dr. Wetter out of Burlingame? Isn't he just the best ever!!! I was so blessed to have him as a surgeon and to have this surgery period. My life has changed immensely for the better. Glad to hear you are doing great. Keep up the great work. Many blessings to you on your journey.
