It is Roll time again Feb 04
Hi all of my October siblings, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your journey. I have been blessed!!! I weighed in yesterday and have reached the century club -100 lbs total (30 lbs prior to surgery and 70 lbs post surgery). I still don't believe it. I am so thankful for this surgery. My health has never been better. I wish my hair would stop falling out though, it's getting scary on that front. I finally feel my energy levels rising. I was thinking I was going to drag for a while, but sure enough the last week I stopped taking those power naps in the afternoon. Many blessings of success to all of you!!!
Congratulations on your success! You are doing so great! I noticed that you live in Hollister, CA. I just talked to my best friend today, and coincidentially she lives in Hollister. I've visited several times. I like the sleepy, small town feel of it! Again, congratulations of your success!

-90 lbs (15 before surgery/75 since)
As of this morning I'm down 77 pounds (349/272/180) and things are amazing. I started at size 26/28 and just bought my first pair of size 18's yesterday! They're tight, but i'll give them another couple weeks and they should be fine. My self-confidence is amazing. I got a promotion at work and am looking at transfering out to Oregon for yet another promotion. I have a great new relationship that I am really enjoying with a wonderful man. Things are just really good!
I still can't eat very much. 2 oz tops. I can kinda tolerate some beef but mainly I stick to fish, cheese and protein supplements. I find myself getting hungry but that usually goes away after drinking some water or eating a snack/meal.
No hair falling out yet (thank god)
For exercise do you have access to a pool? Also what about an eliptical machine? that has no jarring and very little impact on your joints so should help you ankle.
Good luck!!!!!

Hi everyone! I am down 46 pounds and very happy with the loss. I actually am under 200 which I am estatic about and closing on 190. I joined curves this week and hope to finally get in a good exercise program. I have only been able to walk up to this point. My boss informed me the other day that I was shrinking... mainly because I have to keep taking up my pants length.. I have worn a couple of pants that actually dragged on the floor-- even with heels on. The other thing I have noticed is I have lost weight in my feet and am now walking out of my shoes....a strange place to lose weight. I also had to get ring guards for my rings because they are slipping off..... Its been a great month! No hair loss to date and I am still taking the biotin and making sure I get my protein in. Congragulations to everyone on thier progress!
Hi Everyone...
I am new to this board and I'm very excited I found you all! I had my surgery done on October 2, 2003 and am down 98lbs already. I had some problems in the beginning with a wound infection and now I have a hernia I am having surgery on March 9 but other than that I feel great. I am just 5 lbs shy of being under 200 lbs and that feels incredible. I am going to celebrate like it was 1999! (LOL) when that happens. I don't remember being under 200lbs. I wanted to comment that I too have lost weight in my feet, I'm down a 1/2 size! Didn't realize that I would lose weight there but it makes sense. I look forward to talking with you all.

Hi, Congrats to all! Isn't this a wonderful feeling? I am on the ride of my life. I have lost 72 pounds, and feel great. The only time I get sick is when I eat too fast, or too much. My 3 month bloodwork came back with all levels being fine, and the only health complaint I have is my hair falling out. It can stop just anytime now!! Oh well, the compliments are really starting to come, so it's a trade-off.
