HELLO ALL; MY NAME IS CINDY THOMAS AND I HAD MY SURGERY OCT. 29TH LAPORSCOPICALLY....I WEIGHED 350 LBS, AND WAS AMAZED THAT DR. KATSIS COULD DO IT THAT WAY...ALL WENT WELL AND I AM TRYING TO FIND FOODS FOR BREAKFAST.....I CANT DO THE PROTEIN SHAKES ANYMORE....MY TASTE CHANGED COMPLETELY AFTER SURGERY....I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A HARD TIME EATING ANYTHING...I JUST NEED HIGH PROTEIN FOODS....SOMETIMES I ACTUALLY WANT NOTHING BUT TO DRINK JUICE OR WATER....BUT ANYWAY "I'M A LOSER" AND LOVING IT....THANKS FOR READING MY RAMBLE....I'M JUST SO EXCITED!!!

Cindy, Congrats on becoming a loser! I became a loser on Oct 24th! As for breakfast foods I am a creature of habit! I eat yogart every single day! I also have a hard time eating anything in the morning so smooth yogart helps. I read a post on the main board on this topic and the main message was to think outside of the box. Eggs and bacon or ham are good but what about some leftover chicken or turkey from dinner. Heck even fish. Good luck. Tanya t

Congratulations! Just keep Plugging away at it. I find that Carb Solutions has the best "non-after-tasting" protein drink. Have you tried it? If not give their products a try. They also have protein bars and chips. Again, great job! Keep it up!

Cindy, Dannon Light and Fit Smoothies are pretty good w/o tasting like the protien shakes. You might could try that. I had surgery on Oct. 17th also a lap. I weighted in at 330. I am doan to 254 now. Its totaly scarey when i slow down. But I know you Just have to hang in there. GOOD LUCK!
